Loving this kind of "soft reboot" to the resident evil franchise. For me re4 is up there with some of the greatest video games of all time. And so far this looks amazing.

As a game designer, I can say that this game shaped my history and the way I think about games. Could play every day and I would never be bored. Can't wait to play this reboot, especially the village sequence. The best RE ever, for sure.

This looks beautiful! I loved how they kept the shot of Leon in the car looking at the picture of ash! I’m extremely hyped! I hope they keep the whole shoot in the head and kick 😂or suplex!

Holy moly I can't believe I didn't even think about this being the next remake... Resident Evil 4 is one of the scariest games i've ever played when I was a kid. I hope they can capture that fear again and this will be another masterpiece.

Keep the combat mechanics similar to the original, or at least as fun and balanced, don't cut anything out, but add to it (Kinda like RE1 Remake) and you've got the potential for one of the best remakes of all time. The OG RE4 is unbeatable in my opinion but I am looking forward to seeing how Capcom handles this!

Ashley looks very pretty. I always liked her AI when moving out of my gunfire when I have to quickly turn & fire unlike Sheva who stands there staring at me & blocks my shots. Essentially taking one for the enemies. When that happens, I have to walk around Sheva to connect shots during heated battles. It's so annoying! Was it that difficult to modify Ashley's duck or get-behind-my-gunfire AI & apply it to Sheva that they totally disregarded using it?
Will definitely get this game. I have played every N.A. released RE game over these past 22 years except for Survivor thus far. Capcom next needs to modernize the 5th cannon game in the franchise; Code Veronica X! Would be perfect for a VR version too!

The OG RE4 was such a lightning in a bottle game, it's gonna be hard for the remake to be able to hit all the notes just right. But without getting my hopes up I do look forward to what they do with it

It seems they are really trying to emphasize the horror aesthetic this time around. I can dig it. Though I absolutely love the unapologetic over the top 90's action movie atmosphere of the original where Leon is a total Chad dropping one-liners all day. I expect this one to take itself more seriously.

I’m excited for the idea that we might be able to use Leon’s jacket for the whole game on the second playthrough and beyond. That was one of exactly two flaws with the original.
