This has honestly been the most memorable episode of Trigger yet. Seeing Kengo truly become Trigger in both body and spirit, the appearance of Glitter Trigger, man now we have to wait at least one more episode before the big teamup with Ultraman Ribut.

Continuing with Kengo's clash against Dark Trigger, a clash of wills and Kengo's resolve for people to have a happy life reached Dark Trigger who was uncertain of what he wants to do. From there, events went on as it did and it was Yuzare who sealed away the Dark Giants and Trigger using a fraction of the Eternity Core's power. Trigger with the last of its' strength sent the petrified giants floating into space while he crashed onto Mars. We all know what happens from there.
While I'm not exactly a fan of the three crystal color timer, Trigger: Glitter Eternity looks grand. The design definitely fits a final form for Trigger. It stays simple like Trigger's three forms but the five fin head crown and three crystal color timer makes it a combination of all three forms. What I like about this form however, is that Trigger's glitter form is an actual form of Trigger that Kengo can turn into with its' own Golden Ultra cartridge. This means we will be seeing more of Trigger: Glitter Eternity in the later episodes and seeing Kengo getting used to that form and being able to last longer with it. I actually like that Glitter form is too much to handle at first since it shows how much power even a small portion of the Eternity Core possesses and that it takes time to get a hold of it.
As for Dark Trigger, before he is a stoic who is obsessed with wanting power and becoming stronger. However, this episode has proven otherwise, maybe it was the rush of memories that came from Kengo's return to the present but Dark Trigger went berserk attacking foe and friend. Trigger Dark has became a berserk giant fighting anyone he sees even turning on his fellow Dark Giants. What Carmaerra brought back, wasn't her Trigger, but a blood thirsty remnant of him with no soul. Without the light keeping him sane, without Kengo, all Dark Trigger has is his obsession with strength.
We will be seeing more of Trigger Dark because even though Trigger has supposedly sliced him in half, he was not done. Trigger Dark's soul took notice of Ignis and his desire for vengeance against Hudram. We all saw the opening alluding to this but it was how will it happen and here it is. Trigger Dark has made Ignis his host allowing him to live and in turn Ignis now has been given the power that he wanted. The power to kill Hudram and Trigger Dark will allow it as long as he gets to fight. Trigger Dark no longer considers his fellow Dark Giants his comrades and he is going to fight them like he will fight Trigger. This is going to affect the Dark Giants on a personal level, specifically it's going to affect Carmaerra personally. She spent all of that effort to bring back Dark Trigger only to see he wants nothing to do with her. Ignis is going to sneak into the Nursedessai and get the means to henshin into Dark Trigger next episode. He now has what he needs to get his revenge on Hudram.

wow, it's like Hiroyuki saving taiga from the darkness, this time, kengo saving his ancestral self, Daigo will approve now what Kengo has become, also similar effects of Gamma illusion when Trigger regained his senses and finally Glitter Trigger, HYPE! Lastly, Kengo fighting like a true combat fighter in multi form now.

What i love about Glitter Trigger is that there's a huge drawback for using it that is consuming to much energy and kengo not really being able to control it the first time unlike other Ultramans getting a new form,immediatly knowing what to do,kicks some ass then episode over

Was it me or there was actually some SFX from Tiga in this episode? I was worrying that Trigger will be a 12 episode series but looks like I'm wrong. 今までケンゴの頭の中に浮かんでいた超古代のヴィジョンに出てたトリガー三形態…あれずっとフォームチェンジしてたのかと思ったらまさかの三形態揃って闇の三巨人と戦っていたのか。

Well... there's a lot to unpack here. First, I'm not sure this "I was Trigger the whole time" thing really makes sense. Trigger existed before Kengo was sent to the past, didn't he? The only explanation I can think of is that Kengo and Trigger merged in the past. Since this Kengo had merged with Trigger in the future, he had the power of light, so was able to use the Eternity Core to turn Trigger into a giant of light. Then we saw Yuzare seal them all away, and Kengo used the last of his power to throw the Giants of Darkness into deep space. Thirty million years later, Kengo reawakens as Trigger, having fully absorbed and copied the power of Trigger. Yuna and Akito called to him and brought him back, allowing him to escape Dark Trigger's body. Now, however, he IS Ultraman Trigger and doesn't need the ancient giant's power or body.
Second, I always thought it strange that the silhouette of Dark Trigger would be shown alongside Ignis in the opening credits. Now we know why that is: Dark Trigger has found a host of his own. I expect Ignis will use this to take revenge against Hudram the first chance he gets.
Third, Yuna seems to be getting really attached to Kengo, but I REALLY hope she ends up with Akito. He loves her, for crying out loud, and he's not a bad guy, he just has a rough outer shell.
And finally, I LOVE that they decided to make this show's Ultimate Form have greater limits! Now it's a genuine last resort, unlike all the previous ones. The "Fourth Form is Best" thing started with Orb, so let's look at everything. Thunder Breastar was interesting because it took several episodes before Gai could actually control it. Royal Mega Master had a great buildup to it, but was OP as heck. The entire R/B show was... forgettable, honestly. Taiga's show was interesting, and the Tri-Strium form was pretty cool, but it still didn't really have limits. Z's Delta Rise Claw form was also pretty overpowered, especially with Beliarok on his side, but I did enjoy that it was evenly matched against Destrudos. THIS, however... THIS is gonna make for a good story!

I don't think there's a case where a color timer is ringing because of the ungodly amount of power it contains. Damn this form really is no joke. He's way too op that the writer decided you know what, he's way too strong so let that also be his weakness.

I love how in the series Kengo is a hyper couragous and self-sacrificing fully developed character who disregards his own safetly to always work for the greater good. The man has fought for absolute nothing, doubted nothing besides measly small wish for everyone to have a happy future and to accomplish such he has fought battles that are worth a whole series's length in some other series in the span of 12 episodes and became the first host to fight a literal ultra in human form. What I love most is how a underappreciated character like this downplayed and hated upon simply for a catchphrase

Anyone else confused about the history now lol? So Kengo can't control glitter form, which is a nice change of things, from berserk uncontrol (orb thunder breastar) to final too powerful (glitter trigger eternity).
