第137回は、今年結成25周年のASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATIONが初登場。
8月6日公開の映画『僕のヒーローアカデミア THE MOVIE　ワールドヒーローズミッション』主題歌を新曲「エンパシー」(8月4日発売)で担当することが決まっている。
今回は2010年にリリースされた"アジカン"を代表する名曲「ソラニン」を披露。
普段のライブでのパフォーマンススタイルで一発撮りに挑戦している。

Episode 137 welcomes, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.
ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION is releasing “Empathy”, a brand-new song on August 4th,
announced as a tie-in song to the film MY HERO ACADEMIA THE MOVIE WORLD HEROES' MISSION coming to Japan in August 6th.
1 TAKE performance of “Soranin” released in 2010. One of the most know songs of ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.
Performs is their usual way as they do at their gigs, in one take only for THE FIRST TAKE.

This might be their best performance in terms of the instruments. I mean that intro was so calming and melancholic at the same time. The guitar part at the beginning never fails to induce some tears, especially this one in particular. Although Gotoh's vocals in this performance weren't like in his prime days, he still got that emotion flowing throughout the song.

Keep making beautiful music you guys.

漫画のソラニンが大好きで、大好きなアジカンがその作品に向けてムスタングを書いただけでアガりまくって
その後実写映画化した時に後藤さんが原作のソラニンに曲付けて主題歌やってくれてもう全てが最高すぎたなぁ

歌うというより叫んでいた
他の人とは違うかもしれないけど
自分にとっては青春だった

I’ve been listening to Ajikan since the Sol-Fa album and I saw them LA 3 years ago, and this gave me the same kind of energy, I really hope they continue making music for the years to come. They’re my favorite band and probably the reason why I love Japanese music today.

I'm a fan of Ajikan since 2005, I have mixed feelings every time I listen to their new song. there are many sweet memories, I grew and grew up with their songs. I hope they continue to play music until they can no longer play music.
honestly i have a funny story with Ajikan. I know them from Naruto. but since 2005 I don't know what they look like. so it was only around 2007 that I only knew their faces since I was taught by friends how to play the internet (youtube)
Imagine you listen to someone's music but you don't know what they were like for 2 years.
