Dude every aspect of this episode just brings me back:
-the fast paced action
-less talking and using more of the grunts
-the old clay model explosion
-all the tiga refrence like that sound he makes whenever he moves
-and finally no more screaming the finisher just the grunts

A lot of homages, extremely well done choreography and special effects. The plot is simple and logical with nice foreshadowing. This is good, this is REALLY good.

There are literally so many references and easter eggs in this episode alone that makes my nostalgia rises beyond the roof. I'm not gonna talk about the obvoius ones such as the Evil Giants, Yuzare, or Mars, just some that might not seem as obvious.
-The title card of the episode is a referecne to Tiga's title card. Both features the main Ultraman standing in the middle and 2 of their forms standing across from each other.
-The title of the episode, "Connection of Light," is a reference to Tiga's first episode, "The One Who Inherits the lIght."
-Kengo's name is Daigo but instead replacing "Dai," with "Ken," which means sword.
-Golba has both Golza and Mereba's cries, and also Golba digging is a reference to Golza, who often dig to escape his opponents/abandon teamates.
-Many of you probably knows this but the "Nursedessei," is a reference to Nurse, a enemy from Ultraseven, newer fans might recognize the name as the kaiju from the Mega Monster Battle movie, the one that was killed by Dyna.
-Trigger's color timer noise is roughly the same as Tiga's, but at a different pitch.
-The explosion of Golba is actually a reference to how the Showa and the older Heisei Ultraman's enemies always die out with their models being detonated. The New Generation enemies always explode with special effects, but for the older ones, what they do is they make these models of the Kaiju, and then they detonate them. In the show, you can see the models shatter into pieces. This tradition slowly fades away as newer Ultraman comes along, and I'm certainly happy at how they're bringing it back. And the cool easter egg here is that Gaia has the most amount of model explosions by far, and from the looks so far, Trigger has influences from mostly TDG, so it's cool to see small details like these becoming interesting easter eggs.

情報量が想像以上に多くて1話だけじゃ良いか悪いかが判断つかない。
会長はティガ知ってたから絶対何か知ってるし思ってた以上にお母さんの理解力が高すぎてご都合主義っぽい感じだけど会長から何か聞かされたりしてるのかな。何はともあれ次以降も期待

1. The characters are decently established, it's good enough to link the events together, and also good for further development(except that smile smile)
2. Carmearra's resurrection reason is a little too weak to me, meteorite smashing...
3. Glad they found more camera angles for "big giant fights", not only below, left right up down, and the rotation's pretty smooth too!
4. I LOVEEEEEEE Trigger Zeperion Beam, that light passing through his golden plates pattern on his whole body, this is a nice addition to future ultras as well~
5. Lots of nostalgic elements from TDG era, mixed with new techniques, praise-worthy!
(Ancient memories flash remind me of my favourite Ultraman Gaia's debut fight!)

I applaud all of the Tsuburaya staff, all the scenes in this first episode were amazing, especially when Ultraman Trigger against Golba was really awesome.

これティガだけじゃなく、他の平成3部作の要素も入ってないか！？
特撮も何だか平成3部作を思わせるし、そこに凝ったアングルを始めとする監督特有の演出が合わさってる‥‥これ最強になってないか？

トリガーがゼペリオン光線の構えしたときはマジで興奮した！！これは全話見るしかない！！
