I am beginning to understand. He really doesnt think anything matters, and thats why he hates everything because nothing goes his way. People who get this are people who go through tough times and have a stroke of bad luck. He has become cynical, pretty much the opposite of the cat, who always kind of succeeds or makes the best of a bad situation.
