「THE FIRST TAKE」は、一発撮りのパフォーマンスを鮮明に切り取るYouTubeチャンネル。 ONE TAKE ONLY, ONE LIFE ONLY. 一発撮りで、音楽と向き合う。

第152回は、今年メジャーデビュー15周年を迎え、2人体制での活動がスタートしたばかりの、いきものがかりが「THE FIRST TAKE」初登場。
2008年にリリースした彼らの代表曲の一つ「気まぐれロマンティック」を「THE FIRST TAKE」のためだけにリアレンジし、披露。
まさに新たなステージに突入したいきものがかりを象徴するかのようなパフォーマンスに注目。

Episode 152 welcomes the renowned JPOP band Ikimonogakari. Having just restarted as a duo band, Ikimonogakari is celebrating their 15th anniversary since major debut this year.
1 TAKE performance of ‘Kimagure Romantic,’ one of Ikimonogakari’s hit song that was first released in 2008.
Enjoy the renewed Ikimonogakari’s symbolic performance with special arrangements, only on THE FIRST TAKE.

This is why I am loving Ikimonogakari whole heartedly. It is unimaginable to think that Ikimonogakari would brought in Kimagure Romantic to The First Take's stage. Among all of Ikimonogakari's songs, Kimagure Romantic is the one particular song that I wouldn't imagine to have an alternative acoustic rendition. All of the electric guitar and trumpet sound had been replaced by just piano and strings. Even the harmonica solo is gone in this rendition. The tempo had been slow down a bit to better suite the listening experience. Surely, this rendition sounds a lot more romantic to my ears.

The original piece of Kimagure Romantic has always been my fav song. Yet, this rendition come in as the new fav for me.

This is SO beautifully done. Ikimonogakari was one of the first bands I became a fan. I have followed them since those first small EP and saw them become legendary. Listening to this is so nostalgic and heart warming <3 thank you !!
