Starring as your own uncle in his biopic is crazy.

There's a number of people that could've played this part, but a blood relative??! It doesn't get more legendary than this.

It's impossible to describe how big this man was back in the day. He was the most popular person in the world before internet and social media existed.

To this day, I still have the tickets for Michael Jackson’s This Is It tour that was canceled after he passed away. I remember how excited I was, it would’ve been my first time ever seeing MJ live, something I’d dreamed about for years. It still feels surreal knowing that moment never came to be, but those tickets have become a reminder of how much his music and legacy continue to mean to me

I remember when the world would have to rush home after work, kids had to get their homework done fast enough, every bar every club, every restaurant had to pause to catch the latest Michael Jackson video that would air prime time on television. You just don't get that today.

Michael Jackson set a bar so damn high that it’s legitimately impossible to reach. I don’t think no artist will ever reach what Michael has done.

The greatest entertainer to ever walk this planet. Without the internet, without social media, he still ruled the world like a king. Even today, no one comes close to the kind of global stardom MJ had.

No social media, no YouTube, no AI.
Just radio, tv, posters and me walking to the CD store to get the album talking about it with my friends. He was famous from Sudan to Beijing to Moscow to New York to Berlin to Hawaii to Brazil to Tokyo to all of the world.
True music king❤

Over one million views and this trailer didn’t even drop 24 hours ago. Now just imagine Thriller dropping with YouTube around at the time. This should give everyone an idea of how famous this man was if they weren’t there. He is well beyond a generational talent at this point, he was a once in a lifetime talent. I can’t wait to see this and I love to see a Jackson playing him.

He said he wanted reach immortality by connecting himself to his music. I think he achieved that. He'll never die. He's constantly making new fans of his work.

For younger people to understand the aura of Michael Jackson.
In the music video for Beat it. There are actual Crips and Bloods from LA in the video.(not the main dancers) They called a temporary truce if they could meet Michael.
He went to the most violent town in Rio de Janeiro to film They Don't Really Care About US and the actual drug lord there said it will be no violence of any kind during Michael's time there. And the entire favela, friends and enemies are came to see him
Michael once came out from under the stage. Stood still and silent for over a minute and 37 people fainted on the spot!

What’s good about the actor is Michaels nephew playing him and the costumes are 100 percent accurate from his time in the 80s

Michael Jackson was in a league of his own. He could make an entire crowd scream, cry, and even faint just by standing still on stage. His presence was electric, his artistry unmatched, and his impact on music and performance remains something no one has ever been able to replicate. And remember, he reached his peak without the internet or social media. You can never, ever compare this man to any other singer, no matter how good they are. There will only ever be one Michael Jackson.

Please do not mess this up Lionsgate. A majority of biopics we’ve seen in recent years have been underwhelming and not worth the tribute given. This is Michael we’re talking about here, and he deserves the best of the best. I just can’t put my faith in it that they’ll deliver to the level we’re all expecting.

This movie will surely show what the newer generation missed so much, Michael Jackson’s magic. They’ve been discussing about his unbelievable aura and this film will surely boost his music catalog in popularity once again. Relive the Michaelmania once again. And remember, ladies and gentlemen, that is the most successful entertainer of all time and it was said by the Guinness World Records.

Michael Jackson was something else, something that can't be compared with today's "artists". He's probably the most talented artist that has ever existed

I'm impressed by the casting, the director, and the studio.. this looks like it'll be the best depiction of MJ on screen since American Dream
47: @marvin9409
2025/11/07 1:48
The fact that it still somehow feels “too early” for a biopic, even though MJ’s been famous since the late 60s and has been gone for 16 years, just shows how timeless the guy was and still is and how huge his cultural impact was.
48: @rite2anitha
2025/11/07 9:01
I cannot begin to describe what MJ was.. the kids in the villages of many countries didn't know the name of their own Presidents.. but they knew Michael's name.. That's how popular he was.. Children of today will not even be able to imagine what his popularity was like back then.
It's still unbelievable when I think of it.
It's still unbelievable when I think of it.
