Lo acabo de ver con mi hijo. Se ve genial, mucho mejor que Trigger, y un buen homenaje a Dyna sin copiarlo 1:1. Dyna siempre fue el favorito de mi hijo, y ambos disfrutamos mucho Z. Se ve como una buena combinación de Heisei y Reiwa, estamos muy emocionados por este primer episodio. :D

This was a really solid first episode, the pacing felt natural and the worldbuilding was done quite well. Helps that it left off where Trigger ended, so it feels more complete. I was wondering how they would explain the decision to make the GUTS Falcon a manned aircraft, and the EMP explanation was good enough.
Kanata himself is a pretty good protagonist and feels likeable, if a little standard for now. The trope where a civilian protagonist picks up a weapon and starts shooting is a well-worn one, but for good reason, and I'm glad it was used here.
The Spheres are really threatening antagonists; even though the villains in the past shows were cool, there's nothing quite like an invasion from cold, emotionless alien lifeforms with unknown purposes. Sphiresaurus is an awesome design, with those huge arms; I'm glad they're still experimenting with kaiju designs, like what Z did with Genegarg, even if he didn't feel as memorable as that space shark.
Overall, I'm enjoying this so far. The foreshadowing in the Card Navi means we're probably getting the capsule monsters next week, which is something I'm really looking forward to.

Already love this one, hoping for a great series from this great start. And i love how wild Decker and Asumi is, and i like that Asumi positive energy still having the negative side which is unique and good!.

I do not know how to describe it, but that "feeling" I had when watching dyna is reignited and It might be too early but Kanata and Decker have Asuka and Dyna's fighting spirit.

So far Decker feels not rushed like Trigger's pilot ep also encasing Earth in a barrier is actually a good plot point since it explains why Kengo/Trigger cant come to Earth right away since he is living in Mars (probably fighting the Spheres there too) and making Kanata/Decker shine in his own show

The only thing that still left questions in me is how did Decker appear out of nowhere and why he chose Kanata. In previous seasons we had very good introductions to the ultra heroes and why did they choose their human hosts e.g. Taiga had been living beside Hiroyuki since Hiroyuki was a kid, Z was chasing the kaiju that Storage and Haruki fought, and Kengo had dreams about being human and light and accidentally found Trigger in the ruins. Meanwhile here we don't have anything about Decker and he just showed up and saved Kanata. Not really a good introduction to the titular character in my opinion. Other than that, they did a good job introducing the guts-select-to-be characters.

A VERY GREAT FIRST EPISODE !!!!
Doesnt have too much plot squished in and the characters didnt feel forced in their first introduction! The effects are amazing and the fight sequence were very great for the episode, ESPECIALLY after the kaiju battle!
Im so glad they didnt shove Kanata straight into GUTS Select like Kengo(which felt forced and sudden) and are ACTUALLY give time for the bois to get their military training JUST LIKE ASUKA~! :D

Also, I just noticed something; Trigger and Decker's debuts are complete opposites of their own predecessor's debuts. Tiga first debuted on Earth, while Dyna first debuted on Mars. Trigger on the other hand first debuted on Mars, and now his his successor Decker first debuted on Earth. It's quite a great detail change the writers did there

Wow! The first dynamic and mind-blowing time of new ultra hero episode! I love Asumi's Personality and his performance as Decker, especially the horn decapitating part! And damn, Gransphere is like this gigantic extraterrestrial boss in this series, more terrifying than that from Dyna ! This setting is the best after Trigger! Looking forward to the series!

I was lowkey hoping that Kanata would be a bit musclebrained like his direct counterpart, Asuka, but it turns out he's actually a different flavor of friendly lovable dork altogether. I love it! He feels more like Kengo's successor right away than Asuka ever did to Daigo, easily.

A great opening episode! I like how they made it classic meeting between human and the Ultra. Not much talking and roll calling in it and also in fighting scene. And I like how they made it more serious Protagonist than Trigger. So I just hope they keep it that way. Cant wait for next episode and thank you for making Indonesian Subtitle!

Loving the characters and the episode. I know that they can't have it similar to Dyna(since they gave the Mars origin to Trigger which is dumb), but I hoped that they at least made his initial transformation similar. Asuka did not meet Dyna but turned to light. But Asumi met Decker instead. Still a good origin though.

Trigger was like too rushed to deliver the new settings and twists from Tiga, which kinda makes the pacing of the first ~8 episodes really weird. Decker instead started slowly as Dyna did back then, which I think is a good thing, and still have enough time for the main character to shine without forcing too much. This first impression is indeed a good one.

What I like about this one is that Decker actually fights like Dyna with the brawling, grapling, and some projectile use.
While Idk why, but Trigger doesn't seem to fight like Tiga to me, Trigger's fights looked sluggish while Tiga is much more agile even in his normal form.

In my opinion, they resemble a few nostalgic part from Dyna first episode like example how they brought a "training " background, the scene where Kanata run while shoot the monster I immediately imagining Asuka run in Mars. Kanata meet Decker and Asuka meet Dyna are both have a space feel background. They both mentioning Neo Frontier Era, also with the Mars and Sphere. Overall I really enjoyed the first episode 😁👍

(16:25) One of the great detail in my opinion is, as it has been explained in ultraman dyna series "sphere" is a being that has an objective to unite or combine all organism into one entity, that's why when Asumi got absorbed into the sphere he started to forget who or what he is, however his strong character manage to prevail from the assimilation, that's why he's being chosen by Decker, also Decker could be a sphere that assimilate with another ultraman "Dyna" perhaps, but rather than become a monster the sphere took the form of dyna, along with Dyna's characteristics becoming a variant of him. (Dyna + Sphere = Decker)

For a monster it’s size spheresaurus moves around and fights pretty good it even used it’s big-ass arms to shield against a kick. So it seems it’s a lil smart aswell I wish the fight scene was longer to we could’ve seen more out of it. I hope it appears later on besides a specific episode I won’t spoil.

Murahoshi's remark about "we can't guarantee someone will conveniently save us again" (obviously refering to Trigger) sounded a bit... Omninous? I wonder if he might have some sort of arc down the road.

Man this brings back memories back in when Ultraman Dyna's first appearance. I think it takes place a few years from Ultraman Trigger, Trigger Dark, and Ultraman Z's fight against Evil Trigger and Celebro and at the climax of the war between the Ultras and Absolutians.

The first episode was very reminiscence of the early episodes of the heisei series.
There wasn't too much plot squished in, not too bombastic fighting sequence, the characters didn't feel forced when they got introduced on the screen, brief but effective explanation of why they modified GUTS Falcon to be manned, they all flowed very nicely in one episode!

I do love the opening to this theme as it has that early 2ks Ultraman opening. Always a pleasure to hear that.
