In 2112, the sound of “Choice” vanished from the world.
2112年、世界から「選択」という音が消えた。
The Decision Authority (DA) governs every aspect of human life, optimizing happiness for all. In this society, war and hunger have been eradicated, and people enjoy "perfect entertainment" created by AI. However, this came at a cost: music created by humans and the unpredictable surge of emotions were deemed unnecessary “noise” and erased from existence.
管理システム「Decision Authority（DA）」が、人々の人生におけるあらゆる決断を代行し、幸福を最適化する社会。そこでは戦争も飢餓も消え去り、人々はAIが作り出す「完璧な娯楽」を享受している。しかし、その代償として、かつて存在した「人間が自らの意志で作り出す音楽」や、予測不能な感情は、社会を乱す不要な“ノイズ”として排除された。

A girl living in the 22nd century. Her hobby is hacking—slipping through the system’s surveillance. The raw, passionate music created by humans begins to change her gray world forever.

A young member of the anti-government organization ROUGAI. He believes in the "right to choose" and loves the music that only humans can create. He steals a 21st-century device from a museum, believing it to be a powerful weapon to dismantle the DA’s control. The device he loses during his escape—a beacon of hope—will unknowingly change a stranger’s destiny.
反政府組織「ロウガイ」の若手メンバー。「人は自らの意志で選ぶ権利がある」と信じ、人間だけが作り出すことのできる音楽を愛している。DAの支配を打ち破るための「兵器」として、博物館から21世紀の端末を奪取するが、監視網に捕捉され追われる身となる。逃走の果てに彼が落としたその「希望」は、図らずも一人の少女の運命を変えることになる。
