Finally, PMMM is back after 10 years! It's kind of emotional for me because my friend and I are really looking forward to watching this movie. It is sad to say that she passed away last month.

Some details to point out, the Magia quartet have updated outfits and look much younger(especially Mami), could be an art style change or Homura's spell has aged the girls down/ weakened their powers. Kyubey's eyes are ovals this time, that's how they looked in the sidestory anime when Kyubey was aged down & lost his powers. The most important detail is a new member fighting with the girls, she's using the rebellion bow that Madoka gave to Homura, we know it's not madoka because the girl has grey hair. Sayaka's face is wrapped when she transforms now which hints she's hiding her identity to live a hidden magical girl life but also that the quartet aren't friends in Homura's new world. The next detail is that this new magical girl who is using Madoka/Homura's bow is fighting by swinging from Mami's ribbons like how Madoka did in the past, which tells us that this new girl is supposed to fill Madoka's role in the quartet but how did she get Mado-homura's bow?

Could never have asked for a more PERFECT trailer for such a hyped and long awaited sequel which was done so beautifully by not spoiling much more than what we've seen since the ending of Rebellion yet teases so much more is going to happen between the inevitable conflict of Madoka and Homura! The staff at Shaft is still at their full glory making this entire Madoka universe with passion and it will be absolutely worth the 11 year wait and anticipation!

Calling it now that THIS will be anime movie of the year 2024!
