I haven’t played any Pokémon games besides the newest ones, at my brothers’ request. I come from a family of Pokémon fanatics. Both my older and younger brothers love this series. I’ve never actually liked the games very much, I thought the battles were fun but it was really slow overall. But I’ve always made sure I knew who the characters were so that if they ever felt like talking about it, they could.
Obviously while I didn’t understand every reference in this, I recognized a lot of the characters from what my brothers wanted me to see. Me and my friend josh grew up together playing pokemon all the way through grade school and high school. Sadly, he passed away in his sleep cause of technicalities with his heart mur mur he had since infancy. He didnt get to see anything after ruby and Sapphire ive always used persian in my teams since then (it was always his favorite pokemon) id figured id carry him with me to keep josh with me 14 years later this video hits like a ton of bricks and brings this man down to his knees in tears. I'll always remember you josh and thank you for being in my life.
