I'm glad all the fans see issue here - applying a decision shouldn't take 30+ laps, spoiling everyone's experience from the race shortly afterwards. I've been watching F1 since 2003 and this style of decisioning is still a mystery to me.

Albono having a brake failure on this track is one of the scariest things I can imagine happening on a Formula 1 circuit. Those walls are so close and it's scary in the game. I can't imagine how he felt at the time.

No excuse to wait so long to issue the 10 second penalty for Alonso and Aston Martin. They had the footage - they could have announced it soon after he served his 5 second penalty.
Anyway, I'm really happy for Checo and it was so nice to see him celebrating his win with both the Red Bull mechanics and his old Silverstone team (Aston Martin/Racing Point/Force India) mechanics when walking form the car to the scrutineer and then podium interviews.

Redbull was 12km/h (8MPH) faster than Alonso's car, that tells you something but Alonso was setting the records on the two sectors (the curves). You give Alonso a Red Bull power(that extra 8mph) and this guy could keep winning in his 50's. Alonso is pure talent!

They issued Ocon his penalty within minutes last race but took 30 laps and after the podium celebration for Alonso! Absolutely unacceptable.
