Blazar's fighting style is both brutal and "primitive". Ripping parts off of the monsters but also not hesitating to roar back at them and intimidate them into backing off. I'm very fond of this Ultra.

It's interesting how the soldiers immediately recognized an Ultra when they see one. It really strengthen the emphasis on just how advanced the specimen database the humans have in Blazar's universe compared to most other Ultra series. This is like a what if scenario if memories of The Next was never erased in the mind of the people in Nexus' series

One of the best opening so far, just like watching a movie sequence. Captain's capability and personality was well recognise by other members, first transform by force without any delayed due to the current situation, the brutal fights and yelling! And of course how powerful the monster itself! Can't get enough in this episode. Looking forward to the next one! Let's go Blazar 🦾🦾

I like the new fighting tactics Blazar uses. It’s almost primitive like yelling and intimidating it while also breaking and attacking viciously while at the same time he also fights like a martial artist with control and flow

Ok, this episode surprised me. I wasn’t expecting such high energy, cinematic action. It felt like the opening of a big budget kaiju film. If the rest of the series continues this way, this show is gonna be great.

Wow he's pretty much "What if Ultra version of caveman will be?" and honestly this is promising. I can see why they decide to have captain/veteran/legend among his team as his host. This a very interesting dynamic. And quite a breath of fresh air..

I really like how in the fight it seems like there are moments where Gento is in control for a moment, i love after his pre-fight ritual, he poses confidently, then suddenly looks at his own arms with confusion, which i imagine was actually Gento... The idea that they're both in control off and on and that we're seeing that visually is pretty cool

I'm loving this aggressive stance that Blazar takes. It reminds me of haka war dances from Māori culture. Also, the fact that Blazar seems somewhat confused by his own appearance makes me wonder if he's somehow incomplete, as it didn't feel like Gento reacting to being building sized (like past hosts).

Finally, after always getting the noble warrior vibes from every ultra so far, we're getting something new with this more Primal and savage ultra. Loving his guttural grunt and roar. This is sooo Hype

Oh yeah I can already tell I'm going to like this series, first episode was solid, and this Ultra feels very unique compared to previous ones, kind savage in a way with hints of the host poking through at certain times, love it

I loved how the entire episode felt like one long action scene, and they showed us how regular military deal with Kaiju, and not just an "elite unit" formed of five pretty teenagers. It reminded me of Shin Godzilla in a way. I also like how the episode felt "dark" and "mature," but didn't have that oppressive feeling of hopelessness and despair that Nexus had.
That being said, I didn't like how hyper vocal Blazar was, especially since his voice sounds like what a Family Guy parody of Ultraman would sound like. I can tell what they were going for with the scenes of him screaming at the kaiju, but it was hard to take seriously with him sounding like a drunk Johnny Bravo trying not to swear in front of children.
But back on the positive side, that scene of him flying away and the distant sounds of him breaking the sound barrier? Goosebumps.

物語の冒頭から臨場感や緊張感があって目が離せなくてリアリティのある凄い描写だと思ったし、
ウルトラマンブレーザーの通常の声も変わった発音だったり怪獣を威嚇するような掛け声だったり
今までのウルトラマンシリーズには無い表現が沢山あったので驚きと同時に斬新さがあると感じました。

He not only climbs buildings, but he also growls at Bazanga. AND he has a spear for a finisher. I did NOT expect Blazar to be a jungle boy! To think that his host is the calm and calculated type. Honestly, I'm excited.

So it seems like Gento was saved by Blazar after the explosion and merged with him, and Blazar as an entity is a lot more unorthodox than other Ultramen, both in powers and mannerisms fighting more chaoticly and at one point stomping his feet in frustration at Bazanga. Over all this episode makes me really excited for the direction this show takes

What an amazing episode!!! I have to say its probably my favorite 1st episode so far among all the new gen Ultraman. Not only the pacing is amazing, the story are very engaging. The way they portrayed the defense units are very much stay true to real life. Every units have their own role and importance to play and its great to see how they cooperate with each other. Our MC is a very capable commander and its such a fresh breath of air since most of Ultraman mc were usually rookie. Ultraman himself is very unique too. Feral and ferocious, thats my impression of him. The way he roars to intimate the monster gives me the goosebumps. Cant wait to see more Blazar!! 10/10

It really surprised me when we just jumped straight to the battlefield with no explanation, really like how Blazar fights, it felt like I was watching Shin Ultraman with all of military scene, everything is so mind blown

This episode is unlike anything I've seen before mostly. I didn't expect the morpher to appear without the captain bonding with the Ultraman. I wonder how that happened. Also, the close up visuals on Blazar and Bazanga are beautiful and lifelike. I can't wait to see what else he can do.

What a perfect pilot episode,😮 like compared to Trigger and Decker who are restricted with their nostalgia shtick, Blazar is just balls to the walls awesome. You can see the influence from the Shin franchise in this one and its very good

Beautiful. Everything was done spectacularly. I personally like how earth defense force portrayed here. How everyone worked together with their best to stop the disaster. Everything feel so tense yet nonchalant at same time thanks to Gento's squad. The most unexpected is Blazar actually fight. No gonna lie he fight like a gorilla to be honest. The way he taunt kaiju as well his loud grunt. It brilliant. Out of every ultra Blazar are probably the most amateurish which inviting exciting development towards future episode. Also kaijuu actually bleed!! Damn. I really looking forward the direction of Ultraman Blazar in the future.
