I gotta say one thing, it looks super polished and a step above Super in animation. Looks like they learned from their mistakes and actually give their animators time and money to make the series

1984....this franchise is 5 years older than I am and is still incredibly popular and making new stuff. Even became the highest rated show on all of cable tv once in the early 2000s. Very impressive

Definitely a Makaioshin / demon that has something to do with Daburah and Babidi. They're wearing similar capes as the demon king and the one antagonist has a similar mohawk type style hair to that of a Kaioshin hence it's an evil counterpart. So forever wanted to see what the Makaioshin are in Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball, this seems to be their first official introduction. I'm going to assume the reddish landscape is no doubt the Demon Realm. I also have no doubt we are going to get more insight toward Daburah, Babidi and possibly even Bibidi. Should be interesting.

ドラゴンボールって本当にすごいな……
これから先ずっと新しい物語が続いてほしい。
引き継いでいく物語として、20年後も50年後も存在してるといいな。

いつか悟空Jr.が世代交代してからの未来の物語も描いてほしい。

If this will take Dragon Ball back to the light-hearted adventure and strategic fights that I miss, I'll take it.

At least with everyone being children, most of the awkwardness will be avoided. Unlike in GT, where having your grandpa, dad, or husband as a child was pretty weird.

I would have rather seen a spin off show with Goten and Trunks as leads, but if Daima is good, then it's good.

(Note: Just when Goten and Trunks grew up, now they're babies again....of course)

This looks like a series to conmemorate the 40 years of DB and if the eventual adaptation of the rest of the Super manga is gonna look as good as this, i can wait a little bit more

The one thing I hope for in this series would likely be a somewhat terrifying antagonist, as it would fit quite nicely into this more cutesy type of story by contrasting it. I mainly say that's my major hope since I have no idea what they're planning, but I'm excited to see what they do.

if using 3d and 2D would solve "consistency" and efficiency issue with animation, then I'm in for it. Its always been a problem if a long series gets passed around in different studios and quality is like a rollercoaster.

I am disappointed that we won't be receiving animated versions of the Moro and Granolah arcs, but this looks fantastic and I already know I will love it !!

Im actually surprisingly hype for this. I had my doubts when I heard about the story premise, but it looks like it could be interesting. And the animation is lovely, a nice mix of everything super has been so far from the highlights of the characters being more akin to how the base show looks, the cgi elements from super hero being used for the backgrounds, and even shintani styled characters like that last shot of goku. Can't wait for this to come out eventually :)

I love the fact that the animation is very rounded and similar to the old style of the original Dragon Ball show while having the aspects that Dragon Ball Z and Super had in the way that it seems like it will develop more that the OG Dragon Ball series did.

I hope that these "kid" transformations are all just a few episodes and not the whole anime plot itself. Regardless of it, the animation looks sick. We're all expecting a Moro arc, a continuation of Super but let's just appreciate what Toriyama gave us. Plus, seeing Goku using that power pole once again is very nostalgic. ❤

Mi serie favorita desde que tengo 7 años, quiero llorar viendo el trailer. Vamos por siempre padre ball, desde niña he amado esta serie.

I'm excited Ladies and Gentlemen. We already know what to expect with the next animation thanks to the manga. But this right here is a Bonus. I feel like it's gonna fill in a lot of unanswered questions. Hopefully it's cannon to the original story.

As an 80s kid growing up reading the original manga, the animated series never really impressed me so I never watched it.

After watching this I am getting goosebumps and feeling excited for the first time seeing Dragon ball animated on screen. Thanks to the new CGI breakthroughs and compositing techniques, all these animes look better than ever !! Can't wait to watch these ! It's long overdue !!

I’m actually excited about this. I’m one of the few who actually liked Goku being turned into a kid in GT, so to see it effect the entire cast is pretty interesting. The art and animation looks amazing and I’m looking forward to seeing Goku use the power pole again in combat, a little break from the usual hand to hand combat we normally see. Can’t wait to see how this goes!
