I feel bad for the first few Daft Punk fans who came across this video, before the news properly broke, excited for the possibility of new music. To only be hit with the blow at the end of this lengthy & dramatic cinematic.
However I was pleasantly surprised to hear the sound of my favourite Daft Punk song, Touch, an underrated masterpiece, as the announcement was made.
RIP.

They were never everyone's favourite, I only ever knew a small few people aside from myself who actively listened to them, but I have never met a single person who hasn't heard of them, they were an inspiration to many and have made a huge impact on the lives of a lot of people, they will be missed greatly
