On Aug. 21, record-breaking K-pop superstars BTS achieved a new first, when they dropped their first English-language song, "Dynamite." For the latest episode of GRAMMY.com's Press Play series, the talented septet deliver a lively live performance of the sunny, disco-tinged single, complete with '70s flared pants.

"It all began from this: even in the midst of hardships, we must focus on what we can do. As for us, we found freedom and happiness in singing and dancing. This song goes to the ones who need encouragement. We hope people feel energized when listening to the song," BTS explained in a recent GRAMMY.com interview.

ARMYs, the Recording Academy themselves seem to like the boys. Look at how they are flexing their achievements while they are singing live, the instrumental is low , u can hear their voices clearly. RA is trying to promote the boys to the Voters. The voters are racist xenophobic ppl who probably dismiss the boys, thinking they r just another boyband, w/o searching abt their lyrics, composing, producing abilities or their messages. So, plz don't get mad at the RA, it's not their fault that the voters are so rigid. Stop shading RA in the comments thinking u are edgy when u are only harming the boys.

Who are the voters?
A lot of music industry professionals. Songwriters, composers, producers, sound engineers etc. But, the problem is a lot of them are old white men who are extremely judgemental and prejudiced.
First of all ~~ BTS is a POC Group. Grammy voters have been known to snub POC Artists. They don't give POC Artists who have been doing very well main category nominations evn if they are versatile but white artists even if they r new and don't have that diverse a discography but had a decent year, they'll win all the main categories. Eg:-- Billie Eilish is a great example of a White Industry Plant
They don't sing in Eng ~~ POC Artists who sing in Eng get snubbed , so Imagine what happens if u don't sing in Eng. Do u think they will go out of their way to read the translations, wordplay, analogies, various idioms BTS use and their cultural significance, the breakdown of their lyricism -- I don't think so.
They are a boy group ~~ Grammy voters have a lot of prejudice against boybands. BTS is not a typical boyband, but they will be dismissed evn though they have so much creative control
They are a KPOP boyband ~~ Their creativity, lyricism, artistry, musicality gets thrown under the rug becuz of that "Kpop" term.
Kpop is still equivalent to manufactured idols to a lot of these old white men.
Not just Grammys , evn the VMAs. The Weeknd had such a great year but ppl keep giving him the Best R&B, but never Artist of the Year or Song of the Year evn tho Blinding Lights did so well. That will only go to Gaga. She's white.
