Once again, this team knocked it out of the park. The combination of live action with CG was a nice touch. Who knew Megalon could be this intimidating! Love the upgrades they gave Megalon while respecting the character, plus the design is fantastic. But, more than anything, it's nice seeing these old school fights done in a modern way.

I'm glad that Japan isn't shying away from doing more action packed Godzilla scenes like how he was in the older movies. It's nice that they're focusing on the more serious side of Godzilla in Reiwa, but it's also nice that they haven't completely forgotten this side of Godzilla even if it's in a more low budgeted film.

Thinking about the amount of destruction, the whole scale the fight on until the end, it really shows why they are such powerful creatures and are not to be taken lightly. A really great fight showing how intimidating Megalon is. Phenomenal scenes! That push of the ground with the tail, stunned Megalon haha, that punch and the slow put down of the first, Godzilla was like, yeah I know how to fight.

Godzilla vs Megalon was the film that introduced me to the franchise. What a way for the character to return. Who knew Megalon could be intimidating. Absolutely fantastic!

The spine propelled jump into the flying kick was nothing but straight fire!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Not to mention the focused energy punches! Megalon's mouth darts (projectiles) was a gnarly touch along with his horn immobilizer ray! I wish it was a longer fight, but more than satisfied with this!

That was excellent! I was delighted to see Gojira execute a drop kick like he did in 1973, only much more convincingly than back then. Megalon actually gave him a good fight and the level of destruction and attention to physics were impressive too. Well done, Toho. well done!

this is awesome! really love Megalon's newest design, it was great to finally see this long forgotten kaiju return. perhaps one day we can finally see the return of both Battra and Mothra Leo as well, the former still being my most favorite kaiju of all time. the light & dark male members of Mothra's family tree deserve to be revived, which could also lead to finally using the old designs of both Mecha Mothra & Gigamoth as new monsters.

Megalon was a huge favorite of mine as a kid. To see him get such an amazing update is so cool. I hope we get even more Showa era monster update designs.

All I can say is WOW!!! Megalon was such a badass in this. A huge step up from how he was in the 70s. The battle was awesome. We need more of this. I know they'll do Jet Jaguar next, but for the love of God, can we bring Anguirus into this or Gamera?

Growing up, the only Godzilla vhs I ever got my hands on was Vs. Megalon and I cherished that movie. If there was nothing good on after school I'd play Godzilla vs Megalon... This short makes me happier than I can describe. This was awesome! I love these! They did the drop kick!!

If anyone thinks a suitmation full length film would not look good or do well...I think it would possibly do just as good at the box office. This is fantastic and I would so love to see another suitmation with all the wonderful miniatures which are simply works of art. This was great! I hope they keep making these and maybe one day we get a new suitmation...an old man can still dream right??
