어제 멜론에서 생각 없이 재생했다가 곡만으로 입덕위기 처한 멜로디 나야나...
초반에 사랑은 burning 전에 나오는 멜로디에 뻑 가버렸으요... 노래가 너무 좋아서 무대 함 보자 하고 왔는데 갓뎀 무대는 또 개쩌네요 아 특히 후이님 창법 넘 젛아함ㅠㅠㅠ 진짜 그냥 시원한게 아니고 개시원함 사이다 폭포수 들이붓는 느낌 (전반적으로 펜타곤분들 목소리가 다 시원한 느낌이라 넘 조아요)

Pentagon. I was so oblivious to everything that I was missing out until I came across you a year ago. I became starstruck with Pentagon when I heard the song, ‘Naughty Boy.’ I was immediately speechless by how unique and eccentric the song sounded. Your sound and individuality, which I heard early last year for the first time in ‘Naughty Boy,’ was so refreshing to me and introduced me to a relationship that I didn’t even know I was starting. I wasted no time looking up the song, and the amount of times that I have listened to it exceeds the amount of times I have listed to most other songs in my life. To this day when I listen to ‘Naughty Boy,’ very frequently and it still gives me the same rush and excitement that it did when I heard it for the first time in my life. I went days listening to no other song, and would listen to it for hours and hours on end. It gave me happiness and joy that I’d never felt before and I didn’t want to let go of the feeling. Last year when I first discovered Pentagon, I was in high school and was rapidly approaching graduation, so I never found the time to get to know the group in the way that I do now. After I graduated, I started to feel lonely and utterly terrified about my future. I had no direction and every single one of my closest friends had moved on and left me to pursue their planned out professions, careers, and colleges. That’s when I decided to return to Pentagon, who I suddenly remembered brought me happiness and excitement from just one song earlier in the year. I listened to more songs and they all evoked the same joyous and bubbly emotions out of me as ‘Naughty Boy.’ As I listened, I began to recognize that every song made by Pentagon, whether it be upbeat and exciting, or slower and more mellow, all were created on the same basis of a refreshing sound, honest emotions, quirky and unique vocals, and nostalgic and youthful instrumentals. All it took was for me to listen to a few more songs for me to realize that I wanted everything. I knew in that moment, that I wanted all of Pentagon and I wanted to be a part of their story, even if I was just a small part, from that point on. I spent my entire time this year getting to know the group, inside and out. \I love each of you individually, but it is quite possibly your relationship with your fans, your music, and the world that has inspired me the most. No matter what happens to you, all of you have always been so honest about everything that you’ve felt. I know that being in the position that you are in might make you feel obligated to appear happy and content all of the time, but you have never hidden how you’ve felt. You openly share your disappointment with the outcome of some your projects. Your readily share if you aren’t feeling confident are completely satisfied with what you’ve done. You have shared your fears, what worries you, what troubles you, and what you hope to learn from these feelings. You constantly grow as a group and as individuals and consistently keep your fans updated about what is on your mind, even if you aren’t comfortable doing so. In all of my time being a K-Pop fan and a fan of many musicians in general, I have never gotten so much transparency and honesty from a group before. The reason that you are so successful is because of how realistic you are with your fans and you share with us how you feel so that we can carry your pain for you and prevent you from feeling alone. Maybe what leaves me in awe the most is that you all have managed to keep smiles on your faces throughout the pain. Even if you feel disappointed for a while, it doesn’t last long because you are able to once again find a love for your profession and it is clearly evident how much you rely on your Universe to pick you up again. I think I can speak on behalf of Universe when I said that it is not often that a person feels so wanted or needed, but we really feel like Pentagon needs us as their other half and motivation to keep going. It is out honor to keep standing by your side and be there eagerly when you need us. There is so much humanity and realism in Pentagon in that you are not afraid to face reality and acknowledge some of the pain that you feel in life, but you are reminded about how valuable and beautiful it is when you make memories with the people you love most. I know that you have suffered many losses and seen many people come and go in your time as an active group. Still, you respect and appreciate every person who has come to touch your hearts and treat everyone as a part of your family. You demonstrate perseverance and resilience unlike anyone I’ve ever known for enduring so many goodbyes, but also welcoming more into your family as well. I want to personally thank the families and parents of all of you that undoubtedly raised you to be as special and grounded as you are. I know that they love you and have more pride for you than we ever could. I can only imagine how they must feel to know that they took part in the creation of something so inspiring and life-changing for so many across the world. I want to thank them for making you who you are and showing unconditional love to you for your whole lives. My most honorable quality as a Universe is getting to know about all of your hopes and dreams, whether it be individually or as a group. Your dreams are the dreams of Universe, and your fears are what we work tirelessly to prevent becoming a reality for you. I will never forget the overwhelming happiness that I felt when I first met all of you a year ago. Seeing all of you find happiness amidst hard times and finding a reason to smile anyway makes me feel like I can always do the same. I have found friends, a family, comfort, safety, and a love for the world around me inside of the universe of Pentagon. I know that there are thousands of millions of Universe with stories similar to mine and who have found that there are now a part of something greater. All of you are unbelievably hardworking and have stayed loyal to your love of music and the love of Universe through several years of being a group. We will value and honor your trust and faith in our with our whole lives. There is no other group on the same level as you and your discography and passion is simply unmatchable. This is my first time celebrating a Pentagon anniversary and as I’ve said at the beginning of this, it is my biggest regret not being there to celebrate every single milestone for Pentagon, but I am here now, and I will never leave so long as my heart beats. Some people might say that making this long letter is unnecessary and dramatic, but writing this is the absolute least that I can do for Pentagon. Since I will never likely meet them, I just need to get these feelings out into the universe because I know that I am not the only one who feels this way. I usually get annoyed by those who focus on popularity and notoriety over love and loyalty, but this is the first time in my life that I will actively said that I hope word spreads about Pentagon and how iconic they are. They work too hard to be feeling pain as often as they do, and if the music isn’t appreciated, they need to be loved for their journey, hard work, passion, and practical approach to life. I can only pray that Pentagon gets everything that they deserve and then some, but I know I don’t have to wait for long because hard work never fails you. I know that because of how sincere they are, all of their efforts will come back to them with rewards beyond their dreams. For now, it is the duty of Universe to be just that for Pentagon: their Universe. I know that we will work every day to make sure Pentagon is always love, appreciated, rewarded and admired for every bold, unique, and brave step they take. Universe, please use this as an opportunity to share Pentagon’s story and add whatever you need to say on to this. I just want them to know because I become deathly terrified that they feel like nobody cares or recognizes their efforts. Pentagon, I speak on behalf of your friends, Universe, members, and family when I say that I hope your fourth anniversary is everything that you want it to be and more. I hope that not only on this day but every day for the rest of your lives, you are completely satisfied and content with your celebration of success and the amount of love that Universe give you. I hope that you get all of the blessings that you deserve to you for your anniversary, your upcoming projects musically, and your personal lives. Thank you so much for working so hard at ungodly hours and times when you were sick and tired, just to bring us any type of content. Thank you for putting work in every second of every day to make such unique art, honest and relatable lyrics, unique musical sounds, impressive and unmatchable choreographies, and dynamic stages and performances. I managed to suppress myself from listening to the snippet bc I like surprises and yes best decision ever. I know my kings are talented but this is beyond my expectation, they always exceed!!! I had goosebumps all over and I'm at the verge of crying rn. I'm just so proud as a Universe. This is a masterpiece. I hope they know they are more than any awards. I'm extremely surprised Pentagon is not one of the most popular groups. I feel like their songs are really catchy and in general written really well. Also, their vocals are really good, I've seen many idol groups where some members have really shaky voices. But when Pentagon sings live...they all sing really really well!
