I found them back in 2018 through Spotify. I was on my first semester of college back then, having little to no friends at campus. I think it's safe to say that BiSH is my first friend in college hahaha. I put PAiNT iT BLACK on my playlist but I never listened to it. one day, I was at my dorm, listening to the playlist and the song came. It caught my attention and I put it on loop. Then I started to find more about BiSH after that song and I love them even more after listening to their other songs. AYUNi D is the one that stands out the most in my eyes. I love her cute antics and how her music taste really contradicts her cuteness. The following year, I was fortunate enough to watch their live performance at Summer Sonic. I didn't plan to attend the music festival at first, but when my cousin decided to go there to watch Red Hot Chili Peppers, I decided to tag along to see BiSH. I really love the energy there; everyone was chanting, sing along, and we even embrace each other while headbanging to BiSH - Hoshi Ga Matataku Yoru Ni. Although the performance lasted for less than an hour, I was very satisfied. After that, I made a promise to myself that I will attend their solo concert next year.
Then, COVID happened. All flights were closed and nobody allowed to go outside during the first outbreak. I was so disappointed and saddened because there's no chance for me to travel to Japan, let alone attending their live performances, due to the virus outbreak. But thankfully I still can watch their online performances through the official livestream. It does feel really different than seeing them live, but it's enough to made me happy.
Next year, BiSH will be disbanded and I will graduate from my university. Both of us is going to start a new chapter in our lives. I may be not listened to them as much as I was, but I still love and support them wholeheartedly. I even thank them in my final thesis for accompanying me and being the first friend that I made in college. Ps: I would love to attend the WACK tour to see BiSH and other WACK groups, but I don't think I can since my graduation ceremony will be held on the same month. I hope you guys will held another concert in the next month maybe?
Then, COVID happened. All flights were closed and nobody allowed to go outside during the first outbreak. I was so disappointed and saddened because there's no chance for me to travel to Japan, let alone attending their live performances, due to the virus outbreak. But thankfully I still can watch their online performances through the official livestream. It does feel really different than seeing them live, but it's enough to made me happy.
Next year, BiSH will be disbanded and I will graduate from my university. Both of us is going to start a new chapter in our lives. I may be not listened to them as much as I was, but I still love and support them wholeheartedly. If this is it then it's been a great run with BiSH. Plenty of great songs that have tied to great memories in my life over the years.
I was a casual listener for a while who became a huge fan when GUERRiLLA BiSH came out. It's been great to see the evolution of the group and growth of the members. To have kept the same line-up for 6 years is crazy for an idol group, and we're really lucky to have been able to follow these 6. Can't forget about Hug Mii as well, miss her.
