From Hideaki Anno's statement at the press conference.
1. Cyclone was designed by Ikuto Yamashita.
2. Kamen Rider was designed by Mahiro Maeda and Yutaka Izubuchi.
3. The design of the Kamen Rider went through two or three changes, but in the end it was decided to follow the design of 50 years ago.
4. The promotional video was shot ahead of schedule at the request of Toei, so the action suits and helmet that had been made at that time were used. The suit used in the film has a cleaner design.

This honestly looks great, I'm not entirely familiar with the Showa Era, I'm more so familiar with the Heisei and Reiwa eras, but I'm sold on this. Can't wait to see what else Hideki Anno has in store for this. Now if only Shout Factory can pick up the North American distribution/license for the film.

これを主役に歌わせるって事は現代解釈で「悪の秘密結社ショッカー」と、それに立ち向かう「正義の味方　仮面ライダー」をちゃんと描くって事だな！(歓喜)

Did they already filmed the movie or this is just a teaser just to get us hype???? From the first art of the film I thought we were going to get a new costume with the jacket but I don’t mind this. Look like an updated classic ones.
To me Shin Godzilla was a masterpiece. I can not wait for this and Shin Ultraman.

Anyone else here liked Kamen Rider The First and The Next? I loved the new costumes and all the fight scenes. V3 to me is one of the greatest looking Kamen rider ever in any era.

Can’t wait!

冒頭の2つの岩の間から見えるサイクロン号に乗るライダー、半世紀に渡って続いてきた仮面ライダーの始まりですね。この再現はファンとしてとても嬉しいですし、本編の方も期待出来そうですね。

Анно, я ожидал большего в плане дизайнов. Вот в шин годзиле они были супер, а тут обычный райдер. Ну зачем ты так. А вот если гг ещё и не будет нытиком как Синдзи, то это будет совсем плохо. осуждаю осуждаю
