I kinda have this theory in the back of my head when it comes to Eve's videos with the ones that seem connected to each other in some way...
For some reason I feel like the monsters we see interacting with the humans are creatures who are there to help and point out issues that person might have. They are willing to give a hand in helping, but they are still pretty dangerous to folks if ether they trying to ignore their help for to long or they are trying to rely on them to much. You can work with these creatures, they are very sentient and can be kind-hearted but its a balancing act on how are your actions towards them are that will result the outcome.

i've been waiting FOREVER for this music video it feels like, and i'm so glad it's finally here! my two cents on the meaning of "how to eat life":
the message feels like it's very centered on the saying "this world is eat or be eaten," with the main character's answer being "no one can eat me if i eat myself first." it seems to me that perhaps this main character has made past decisions he wasn't proud of, signified by the beheaded body of the beast following him wherever he went; it's a physical manifestation of his past haunting him, which he literally tried to cut off of himself (or escape from, distance himself from). its made clear that he is the beast, his face flashing to show half of it hidden beneath his normal looking facade, which might be hints of his guilt for whatever mistakes he'd made that were so bad he had to quite literally run away from them, or stuff them down via devouring them, i.e. near the end he's trying to composedly eat himself with the cutlery at his disposal, but he begins to become more desperate to hide the ugly truth, instead using his hands to grab handfuls of meat and innards. but he was too afraid to touch the heart.
tl;dr, he wasn't chasing the "dragon," the dragon was chasing him, and that's because it was his past sneaking up on him!
EDIT: watching a few more times, it seems his guilt also has a physical manifestation, which is the sneering entity following him throughout the entirety of the video (which mirrors the anxiety and inferiority entities in tokyo ghetto and as you like it respectively). it seems to push him towards revisiting the past he so wishes to forget and run away from, which is shown by the hand lifting him as he makes a jump for it! near the end as his past is closing in on him, his guilt (which feeds off of him during the course of the video) seems to be finally preparing to devour him whole when they come clashing together. in the end, it seems he was able to eat his own "life," his past, and the guilt remains standing over his shoulder.
