As the car entered the tunnel, we see them slowly descending into the 'red sea' of black market alley. Even though it's grim and bloody, they found each other's presence comforting. But Ibuki knew he can't keep this happy times forever, because if Louis truly wanted to leave, one of them has to die. Ibuki is aware of the promised bullet that awaits him (2:13). As he noticed Free quietly following them (2:24), he knew his time has come; he's relieved his comrade is there as promised. As much as it hurts him, he has to pit himself as a 'lion' n order to let Louis to be free. So he did. And he has no regret.
Louis saw how much suffering a lion has to endure despite their large body, through Ibuki's eyes. He finally realized he loves carnivor that he dropped the gun. But it's too late. The bullet shots through Ibuki, taking away his friend's life forever. The 'red sea' shifts into nothingness, signaling their severed ties.
Through Ibuki's sacrifice, Louis made it to the outside world, the 'clear sea.' Even if they're not in the 'red sea' anymore, Louis reaches out, and will always hold lion dear in his heart. "Such foolish lion," he must've thought.

As a member of shishigami , Ibuki strongly hopes louis continue to stay in shishigami , but he respects his boss ( Louis ) so much and he decides to let Louis decides himself. Ibuki tries to use his identity ( carnivore ) to threaten louis from leaving shishigami as he knew Louis will be hunted by shishigami if louis left the group . He tries to take control of the conversation between them to persuade Louis to stay in shishigami along the car journey but in the end he failed . He can't do anything so he decides to face Louis like a "lion in shishigami" ( a carnivore ) , his mind comes out with a plan that he wants himself to be the first person killed by louis as we know louis ( a herbivore ) can't do the killing stuff. (most importantly to end the strong friendship bond / father to child bond between them ).
That's why he tries to eat him to force louis to make his decision quickly to end their friendship's tie in shishigami.

Well in the end , Free comes and kills Ibuki as Ibuki and him had a promise before and Free understands and respects Ibuki's decision so he sends Louis back to normal life.
Louis is a herbivore that hates carnivore so much but after the days staying in shishigumi , he realises and understands the good side of carnivore that tries to protect the weak ( herbivore) and the first person that shown this act to Louis is Legoshi ( the wolf ) . This triggers him to be determined to leave the shishigumi ( to find Legoshi-kun ).
Louis feels super duper sad and he can't even kill Ibuki as Ibuki is like a father to him , he is the first person to push Louis as the leader of shishigami , always protects him in fight , buying salad for him secretly , tries not to eat meet infront of Louis . They have connected each other with PURE friendship and this bonding has to come to an end once Louis is determined to leave shishigumi :(
Ibuki is getting tired in using his jaws and strengths to survive in the underwold as it only scared the herbivore away full raw power . The appearance of Louis had saved him from continuing his action of " King of Beasts" to rule the underworld . They use it to protect Louis and the other herbivore and this had made the shishigumi become more stronger. That's why when he realised he can't convince Louis from staying in the group , he changed his plan and faces Louis with his lion side and his death in order to set Louis free from underworld.

after that repeat this song and understand the meaning of it , then go through anime BEASTARS season 2

It hurts when Louis never cry before.But he start to cry because he lost someone who he considered as father and regret for not able to do anything. Even when he try to acting tough in his mind,he cant hold his tears.
