STORY
月野うさぎたちは、束の間の平和を取り戻し、普通の女子高生としての生活を送っていた。
その矢先、うさぎの恋人である地場衛がアメリカへ留学することに。衛の見送りの空港で、うさぎは衛から婚約指輪を渡される。ふたりが未来を誓った直後、衛は何者かの手によってうさぎの目の前で消滅させられてしまう。
衛が消えた現実を受け止めきれないうさぎは、その記憶を心の奥底にしまい込んでしまった。
そんな中、うさぎたちの前に、突如セーラーギャラクシア率いるシャドウ・ギャラクティカ、そしてセーラースターライツが現れる。セーラースターライツが敵か味方かわからないまま、セーラー戦士たちは圧倒的な強さを持つセーラーギャラクシアに、力の源である“セーラー・クリスタル”を奪われ、次々と消されていく。
ふたたび自分の愛する人たちに出会えることを信じて――。

I read the manga when I was 10 years old. Sailor Cosmos had such an impact on me since she was this mystical senshi shrouded in mystery. I've always wanted to see more of her, hear her voice, see her come to life. 20 years later and we are finally seeing her getting the spotlight she so deserves. I had shivers watching this.

The full circle is finally coming to a close in this manga animated adaptation! I’m blessed to have made it this far in my life to see Naoko’s dreams in an animated form after over a generation of waiting, hoping! When this adaptation first came out, I said to myself I’ll be dead before I’ll ever get to see the end of this animated version. True, we can’t know what happens the next minute of our lives as we all will leave this world at an appointed time. At the middle of my life, I think of those sailor moon fans that have passed on before they could see this moment happen, my heart hurts ….
