Man, this episode really just came out like a absolute banger. Also, I like how Kengo had PTSD when he sees Carmeara again. Poor dude could not get over his nightmares of his ex-girlfriend even after 10 years of peace

I don't think we've ever seen an Ultra show take a crack at further developing a protagonist after their own show, but that certainly feels like what we're potentially getting. Tiga never did get the chance to save Camearra... probably cause her own pining for the light bit was teased too late into Final Odyssey to matter, so it's nice to see that his modern counterpart at least gets to take a crack at it. Even if Carmeara's own final moments felt like an afterthought at best.
Speaking of which, damn, Carmeara legit straight up hijacked the Spheres to fuel her own resurrection?! That's a heck of way to reestablish just how much of a threat she is. Peak final-girl-boss energy.

What I like about this episode is that it shows how brokenly fast Sky type is, being able to go from mars to earth in a short time. Keep in mind Mars is around 148.48 million kilometres away from Earth and it takes around 7 months to get to mars with current real life rocket technology, to which Trigger was able to cover this long distance in less than a minute while in sky type

Not really surprising that Kengo's a lot better utilized here, compared to his own show. That's a general trend with tokusatsu protags that have really well established personality quirks, otherwise hindered by their own stories. (Takeru Tenkuji and Haruto Souma come to mind). They tend to work super well as supporting characters bouncing off other protags.

That double rise scene was the first and amazing thing of the franchise ever and then that cliffhanger ending surprised me with excitement to look forward to the next episode! It has been a brilliant couple of episodes so far and each one develops more and more than the previous!

Even though they're using the same scene/cg or whatever when Nursdessei fell down, the fact that there's not only Kengo, but Akito, "Yuna", and even Tatsumi makes me smile. Also, I was about to complain about how 31 y.o Kengo still acts like a kid, but then I look at myself and stop complaining right away 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Great Kengo is still spreading smiles to everyone and Akito still says save it lol nice great how surprised everyone looked when Trigger appeared great how Kanata and Kenger get along right away too of causrse they would right. Love how Kengo and Kanata try to explain how Kengo got to earth glad someone noticed and asked how and damn that double transfomation so epic and Kengo hearing Cameara voice made freeze.

Man this episode is Fantastic.... Actually Made Trigger/Kengo into a likeable Character with regrets and developements... The scene where it's just an entire 2 mins of Both our Ultras Talking is magnificent and a really nice callback to Dyna's last episode... Hell Kengo's line where he said "you need to find that answer on your own"... is ripped from Daigo's words to Asuka.. I just loved it!!
Also... Trigger becoming part of the main cast? potentially? Trigger secondary Ultra???

I really hope that they can save Carmeara this time around. For all the awful things she did, at the end of the day she just wanted her Trigger back. I think she'd have given up on all of her ambitions if it meant she and Trigger could be together again.

- I like seeing the Mars set again even if it looks more like a set from Star Wars here
- Playing with fire here I think Kengo's better here than in his own season dispite his catchphrase, probably because he acts like a human rather than a box of happy emotions.
- The Trigger sword is meh in terms of design, it kinda looks like it's made out of Legos
Even if this episode wasn't as good as the previous it's still decent, I still would've preferred a Decker/Z crossover more

Episódio muito bom, essa entrada do Trigger foi bem daora com todo mundo surpreso sem falar na parceria com o Decker.
Imaginando como será a "nova versão" do Gaia e os 3 lutando juntos.
A única parte ruim é que provavelmente veremos menos do Tiga, Dyna e Gaia futuramente mas espero estar errado.

Alright kengo has redeemed himself from cringe,looking forward to see him in the next episode. The dual henshin of decker and trigger was absolutely beautiful,bravo🥳. I could just hear the “STANDING HERE!! I REALISE YOU ARE JUST LIKE ME” in the part where they were punching the hell out of gatalothor and poor kengo. Seems like he’ll be on a mission to save his ex-girlfriend and MAYBE we’ll finally see them both talk it out in human form. Best episode so far and way to go Tsuburaya🍵🙏

Oh man this was a fantastic episode! Love these duo Ultraman episodes and the ending made it even better. Was already thinking how could Megalothor be revived without Carmeara but the ending confirmed that Carmeara is back as well. Will be very interesting to see what happens in the next episode. Also great to see the other cast of Trigger except Sakuma's actor and Hanase's actress & ofc Marluru as well was missing

Either it's the Spheres reanimated Megalothor to its' entirety but Megalothor regained sentience or remnants of Megalothor's soul remained and used the Spheres to reanimate itself. What is strange is how Carmearra's soul still exist?
During the one year time span, the original GUTS-Select has been keeping the Spheres from doing further damage to the Mars colony. Who is this Yuzare that Kengo doesn't know and so it was through her Kengo gains the means to break through the Sphere's barrier on Earth. I like to point out Akito managed to get that Sphere card working by getting the data from a dormant Sphere. Guess if there is a way for GUTS-Select and TPU on earth to break that barrier it would be through asking the Spheres themselves.
