Saw Metallica in Pittsburgh in august. Left the show thinking “thank god I got to see them live because with James coming out, saying he’s getting old, the limited number of concerts they did this year and the fact they’re celebrating 41 years as a band I’d say there about to be winding down their careers.” 3 months later they drop a badass new single, album release date and tour date announcements on to everyone like a piano. Fucking love Metallica and can’t wait to hear the new album in its entirety

I been riding the lightning for years listening to these guys. How crazy when I was thirteen listening outside a civic center when they played kill em all and seeing them live on the and justice for all album. Great musicians who surpassed so much. Metal lives through and through.
