I like the subtle detail of dyna swatting away energy attack using his bare hands while decker is using a sword, using his solgent beam point-blank and withstanding the explosion, and taking little damage from terraphaser beam, It really give the "Tough" look to his character

First Tiga/Trigger, now Dyna/Decker. Knew it was coming, but still the brass section as he appeared brought tears to my eyes and I had to hold in a scream of hype.
Seeing future Decker being so capable and economic in combat was one thing, but Dyna's cameo and showing his improved tactical awareness without taking away from his explosive straightforward style is also super thirst-quenching, like taking the path of least resistance rather than clashing head-on and the Ultra Fork to the muzzle.

This episode was truly the episode that we all have been waiting for, Ultraman Dyna returned to glory baby! I've been waiting for this very moment, and every moment of it I will cherish it! I was also hoping that Asuka would appear as well, but it seems like that will be reserved for the finale. Definitely will be waiting for that finale

Usually, the Lancer embodies an ideological extreme, which is narratively framed for them to contrast with the main character who usually sits at a middle ground. Here though, the roles are swapped. Kanata's absolutely against using the Sphere's in any fashion while Ryumon plays the middle-man, fundamentally against the notion, but supporting what it's potentially capable of.

The best part of this episode is how Dyna's cameo doesn't even come close to overshadowing Kanata's character growth. If anything, it's IMPROVED by it.
If it wasn't obvious before, Kanata's drive to continuously move forward is actually rooted in his ability to focus on the present. The first time he genuinely comes to a stop is when he worries too much about the ramifications of what's happening now. That anxiety has been building subtly for awhile now, having to live up to Kengo/Trigger's expectations, being entrusted by his descendent to save Agams, made all the worse because Agams does not want to be "saved."
These fears are perfectly symbolized by these particular Spheresaurus, they LITERALLY hail from the future!
Of course, ripping a hole through space time is an open invitation for all guests bad or GOOD.

I may be projecting too much, Dyna has always been MY Ultraman, but his entrance was so freaking in character. No slow build up like Ace's cameo in Z, or Tiga's in Trigger. There isn't a soft swell of music as the dust settles and the fog clears to reveal the returning hero. Nah, my boi don't play like that. Dyna dives RIGHT IN. Casually offing the second Spheresaurus off screen? That was just the appetizer, "The real fight has just begun!"
It's the perfect example for Kanata in the moment. Dyna might hail from the future, but he showcases absolutely no hesitation. Even when he's instantly overwhelmed by Agams joining the fray, he chooses to stand STRONG. If the Spheresaurus represent the worst outcome for the future, then Dyna's obviously symbolic of the opposite, a future achievable only by doing the best you can, right now.
The Trigger/Tiga team up showcased their equivalent type changes side by side, but Kanata basically goes straight into Dynamic, and stays that way for the rest of the fight, which I thought was odd, but maybe double Miracle is too much hax for one show?
It occurred to me on rewatch that it very much harkens back to the themes from Dynamic Type's debut. This is a form for Kanata alone, symbolic of his drive to grasp a new future. Of course it's going to be his main type in this particular character moment.
(Side note, the Tiga and Dyna cards are obviously here because the toy iterations recently hit store shelves, but in this framework, it's hard not to see it as a legacy, a will, a being inherited by the newest generation).
With that, Kanata's character is effectively all but wrapped up, just in time for the final stretch.

- I really like how the Scitech guys have taken to studying and trying to control the Sphere, it makes total sense for someone to think "hmmm maybe if we get the ingredients to these things, they might at least make good car fuel"
- I expected Agums to form a truse with Kanata with him talking about how humanity isn't able to control the Sphere, and that obviously being what lead to Bazdo's destruction. It was interesting to see that Kanata doesn't agree with Agums but sees his point locking his powers
- The Dyna cameo was awesome. However, where'd he come from? He just kinda appears and then Kanata fights alongside him. Maybe it links to something that happens in Dyna the show
- I love Sphere Geomes, he looks like a big damn Kaiju boss as he should

Whoa, Dyna himself arrived! I decided to choose this as my favorite episode in this series so far. It feels just like last year when Trigger fought alongside Tiga. And better yet, Dyna lended Decker the power of him and Tiga to unleash a powerful finisher. How cool is that!

The fighting style of Dyna confirms that this is Shin Asuka! He throws a projectile like he is throwing a baseball just like Asuka, he uses solgent beam point blank just like when he was fighting Zeluganoid, another sphere monster in Ultraman Dyna Episode 49-50, and he gives Kanata two dimension cards, Dyna and Tiga, possibly referencing the time when Tiga and Dyna fought together against queen monera in that movie!

1 It was so epicly awesome! Ultraman Dyna has come back to deal with his oldest enemies and fought along with Decker.
2 The Sphere- Geomos was on a whole new level. It can absorb lightning, fire, rock, and even Spheresaurus. Luckily Guts Select and Dyna destroyed Spheresaurus before anymore came to the present Earth.
3 It was a perfect team up between Decker and Dyna. Plus Dyna gave Decker new cards, Tiga and Dyna combo technique.

I'm still in awe by dyna's rise sequence, mixing the first cgi rise with a real suit really gives it a nice touch. Especially strong type's mode change.

It's happy to see the legend Dyna come back to help Decker in the same way as Tiga did to Trigger! But a little bit disappointment is no sign of Shin Asuka in this episode, only his Ultraman is.. But lets hope he WILL appeared in finale of this series to guide Kanata.
