“Chainsaw Man” is a manga serialized in Shueisha’s “Shonen Jump+” that has sold over 30,000,000 copies. In 2022, the series was broadcast as a TV Anime series that was made by animation studio MAPPA (Notable works: “JUJUTSU KAISEN”, “Attack on Titan Final Season”, etc.), creating buzz all over the world.
Now in 2025, the episode that made the world go wild during its serialization is coming to theaters as an animated movie!

Denji became “Chainsaw Man”, a boy with a devil’s heart, and is now part of Special Division 4’s devil hunters. After a date with Makima, the woman of his dreams, Denji takes shelter from the rain. There he meets Reze, a girl who works in a café.

Man, as a manga reader, this looks amazing! Especially with the fresh art style, animation and voice acting it really feels like the manga has came to life! Can’t wait for next year, Mappa has really put the effort for this it’s so nice

I can't wait for the kiss scene to be animated. I think Reze arc truly deserved a movie.
For anyone who hasn't read the manga, I can assure you that this arc will be a turning point of Chainsaw Man to a very wholesome anime. The story of City Mouse and Country Mouse will never be the same again.

爆弾の悪魔がデンジの腹アッパーするシーン、よく見ると爆発の瞬間ボって効果音が光で描かれてる。細かいけど原作の斬新な擬音の描き方再現しててまじで良い。
