The song hits as hard as "Either Way." IVE has gone through toughest times since their debut, but they've never let it affect their work. They've continued the concept and message of self-love, which is such a strong image, especially since a big part of their fanbase are kids who also need to learn this message. IVE will always make music with a powerful message that sounds beautiful.

Am I the only one who shed a tear? This song is so powerful and unifying, and is just so fitting for IVE. Despite what they’re going through (Yujin especially), and how people have treated them throughout their career, they are single-handedly welcoming all who feel like outcasts - like rebels.

The bridge and end chorus made me really cry its so comforting.. The storyline of the MV.. I love where Leeseo part where she's the only directing to the current and someone hugs her.. As for someone who always misunderstood and outcast this is one of the most emotional and genuine music video for me and also the song itself.

아이브를 좋아하는 사람들이 어리신친구분들도 많고 자기 자아를 구축하는데 정말 중요한시기인데(제 조카도 아이브 짱팬임) 물론 어른들에게도 정말 좋은 메세지를 담는 곡이네요

가사도 그렇고 MV 중간부분도 그렇고 "우리끼린 미워하지 말자." "사랑해"라거나 아님 후반부에 서로 손을 잡거나 포옹을 하거나 얼굴을 맞대는 부분에서
되게 오묘한 감정을 느꼈습니다. 저는 타 팬이지만 지금 현재 제가 좋아하는 아이돌을 너무나 좋아하는 중이고 여기 계신 모든 다이브 분들도 아이브를 너무나 좋아하고 사랑하는 중이기 때문에 이번 신곡에
위로를 많이 받지 않을까 생각이 드네요. 비록 저는 다른 아이돌을 좋아하는 중 이지만 이번 아이브 신곡으로 정말 위로 받고 갑니다.

As a DIVE, I don't think IVE has ever disappointed me. But rebel heart is really great. It's got anthem vibes. Really pushing walk to the beat of your own drum. Unapologetically fierce while delivering a motivating message. No matter how hard life is, live it the best you can. Your heart is weak so keep it safe but it also holds a lot of strength so don't be afraid to express yourself and live the way you want and desire.

초반부에 모든 멤버가 혼자있다는 점이 인상깊었다.

마음속에 분노를 품은 것 같은 - 유진
따뜻하고 편한한 분위기의 방 안에서 반려동물들과(만) 지내는 - 리즈
톡특한 스타일링으로 태연해보이지만 어딘가 어색해하는 괴짜느낌의 - 레이
또래들이 모여있는 교실 밖에서 혼자 방황하는 - 이서
사랑하는 사람(들) 에게 상처받고 혼자남은 - 원영

그리고 무표정하게 있는 십대들의 얼굴 사이에 혼자 밴드를 감으며 미소짓는 소녀(목표를 위해 노력 하는)가 나오고

저항군의 심장 이라는 곡명에 걸맞게
용기를 가지고 나를 고립되게 만드는 모든 상황들을 이겨내고 다른이들과 공감하는것이 나를 더 사랑하고 아껴주는 일이라는 의미가 노래와 뮤비에 담겨있지 않을까...
