スタッフが出演者を大事にしているのがよかった。悪魔で自然な感じで、喧嘩とかキスしまくるとか無理な展開なくて、バラエティぽさは抑え目。１組しかカップル成立しなかったのも逆にリアルでいい。

こういう番組って大体一人くらいは嫌なやついたりするもんなんだけど、これに出た人全員すごい素敵だった。海外の人が恋愛リアリティーショーのASMR版みたいって言ってたのわかる。穏やかな空気しか流れてなくて、ストレスなく見れた。

The idea of Dai and Shun fighting every day is so funny and endearing to me lol. It's also what I expected, let's face it, they're very different people. I think the fact that they have all these little fights shows they both refuse to change for the other but still continue to choose to be together anyway and that's actually romantic as hell. Obviously I hope it doesn't wear them down eventually, but they'll need much more time than just a year together to be able to get more on each other's wavelength. They have a passionate relationship... When there's passion, there's bound to be conflict.

I must say as an American watching this show, it was one of the best gay themed reality shows I've ever seen. This group of Asian men are very unlike most of the Americanized Asian men I have met. I loved how there was no ridiculous drama and fighting on the show. The way that these men were so open and genuine with their feelings was really impressive. Asian men are often feminized in culture for a variety of reasons, but I really liked how in tune they all were with their feelings, are very comfortable with outward expressions of emotion like crying and hugging each other, and were ready to put themselves out there even if they didn't get the response they wanted. I also really liked how if feelings weren't reciprocated, none of them tried to sugar coat it to the other person. They thanked the other guy for his honesty, but said the same feelings were not there. As for Dai and Shun, as a clinical therapist, I see many red flags there, but as a fan watching the show, I was really rooting for them. Shun has clearly had a rough start to life and had to learn a lot on his own. He didn't have anyone to instill self confidence and communication skills so he handles things the only way he knows how. I'm glad that Dai didn't give up on him and I think maybe part of Shun's hot and cold behavior was to see if Dai would quickly give up. It was Shun's defense mechanism because you can see how sensitive he is. Opposites attract and I think that Dai and Shun's different energy balance each other out. As for the others, Usak is a gentle giant. I hope he finds someone. He seems like a great guy. Gensei has such a good heart and I think he'd pair up well with someone else artsy, which is why I was rooting for him and Ryota. Taeheon is extremely wise. I would've been interested in him. I like his energy. Ikuo expresses himself very well but I needed more time to figure him out fully. Alan is a ball of energy that probably wouldn't mesh well with me, but my goodness his outlook on life is incredible. He seems genuinely like a person who goes with the flow and wants to just get the most out of life. I love that. Kazuto is very much like me. I need time before I can say I love someone. There's so much I need to know first, but I'm glad he was willing to open himself up for something with Alan. That was another opposites attract pairing I liked. I hope there will be a season 2 with a new set of guys.
