Soojin: is the demon that is tempting everyone and penetrating their thoughts.
Soyeon: knows she is falling to temptation and is not trying to fight it. In purgatory she is dancing waiting to go to hell. Not scared
Minnie: is trying to fight temptation but everything is pulling her and tempting her which is why at the very end she is curled up in purgatory and then ends up in hell.
Yuqi: is an angel or pure being, but it slowly being corrupted by temptation because she is curious. You can see her peeking to see soojin.

Miyeon is the goddess and soojin the devil, but soojin tempts another angel, shuhua an archangel ( soojin whispers and kisses her), making her fall for her, no longer an archangel but just an angel as yuqi, the angel completely falls for the devil (yuqi falling into the blackness) becoming minnie with all the struggles between who she has become and losing it, minnie stays the devil's worshipper and becomes soyeon (killing all who she was and becoming this brand new devilish person), as u see soyeon is dancing in the mud where minnie ends up at the end
Some additionals: a glass of wine/blood is poured for minnie and next scene soyeon licks it on her lips meaning their the same person and minnie drank it, yuqi looking in between curtains and seeing her past before she falls even more, the moment soojin whispers to shuhua she changes to be soyeon, seeing how she was and how she ends up

Here's my theory:
*Soojin* - Devil ("She") She's the one who's luring everyone into her trap with her beauty. "Insanely beautiful but seems like a devil".."Come in"
*Minnie* - The prisoner. Soojin is tempting Minnie by luring Minnie with her "music". She tries to fight it so hard that it makes her go crazy. But then she ends up falling into Soojin's trap. (We can see her "trapped" in the wine glass being poured with red and then slowly her body is being covered in black (sin). Then the black fills the space eventually and she's fallen into the trap as well. The black liquid taking over and her nosebleed represent the "evil" getting inside her. She's covered in mud like Soyeon at the end, trying to reach out. "I was drawn into the music and fell right into it"
*Soyeon* - Was an angel before (she was wearing white at first) but when she was tempted by the devil she just gave herself. "Can't be controlled just like sugar-coated drug".. Soyeon allowed the devil to make her become the devil-if not, the devil's slave and now can't escape but likes it (Soyeon licking the barbed wire represents her enjoying the dangerous and evil)
*Yuqi* - Falling in love with the devil. "Fall head over heels and you toy with my heart"..She knows that she's being played but she still "lets [her] in". The devil seduces and lures her with the "music" and she was falling right into it. We can see her literally falling and her dark makeup represents her becoming a devil too.
*Miyeon* - Tries to stop Yuqi by showing her what will happen if Yuqi fell. Miyeon demonstrates by dropping the cup in "hell", where Soyeon is. In the end she can't do anything.
*Shuhua* - The survivor. The devil tried to seduce and lure her into her trap before but she "color/s [herself] with strong purple scent", trying to counteract Soojin's power. Soojin whispered "From the bottom of my heart" as a way to lure the others. We can see that she did it to Shuhua before but in the end she didn't succeed. With Soyeon however, she did.
Once again, my queens slayed their comeback!! This is handsdown the most creative MV I've ever seen. Every shot is cinematic and abstract it's almost as if I'm watching a movie. The song is a masterpiece but that's a given cos we all know Soyeon is truly a genius. Soyeon incorporating "urban hiphop" elements with dark themes? It doesn't get any more unique and refreshing than that. Most people thought it would have a typical genre and style after listening to the snippet but Soyeon created her own genre. To those who are new to idle's music and aren't feeling the song on first listen, give it a chance. Soyeon is known for making music that grows on you after several listens.
All of my girls look absolutely stunning like the MV and nobody can disagree even haters (I have receipts haha). They all worked hard for this comeback so I hope it will be successful! It doesn't get any more unique and refreshing than that. Most people thought it would have a typical genre and style after listening to the snippet but Soyeon created her own genre. To those who are new to idle's music and aren't feeling the song on first listen, give it a chance. Soyeon is known for making music that grows on you after several listens.
