This is the first video we take since the bout.
First of all I want to apologize to the fans and to my teams that I wasn’t able to perform as everyone was expecting.
It turned out to be NO-Contest at round2 but I think I lost, in my honest opinion.

Speaking of physical damage, I was the one who got more badly hurt.
I’ve been through 44 professional bouts so far and I’ve never been hurt this bad even though it ended in only 2 rounds.
I got crack on my jaw now and I’m pretty sure it’s the Casimero’s point-scoring punches that caused it.
In terms of damage itself, it should explain how bad I was already hurt there while Casimero was just getting fired up with no damage.
I wasn’t able to go out again on the bell so I was left no choice but to admit my defeat to this fight against him.

I’ve never been in this kind of situation before and I didn’t really know how it would turn out.
I can somehow remember the 1st round but I have only scattered memories in the 2nd round. I’m not sure what punch got me hurt. I watched the video several times but I just couldn’t specify the punch. But I do remember there was some punch that hurt me really really bad and that’s what made me unconscious and next thing I knew was “What?! I thought the bout already ended. Why am I still here”. That kinda thing.
I had no clue whatsoever whether this damage was caused by his punches to my face or to the back of my head. But either way, it was the fact that I was already hurt by his point-scoring punches. So I can’t argue if this bout was called my TKO loss at this point.

この動画で、赤穂さんは正直に語っていると思います。様々な憶測をよんだ試合でしたが、受けたダメージによって、記憶と同時に正常な判断能力もかなり失われた状態だったようなので、そういう状態なら仕方がなかったのかな、と感じました。まずはゆっくり休んでダメージから回復してほしいです。今後のことは、元気になってからでいいと思います。お疲れさまでした。

現役時代、劣勢で効かされていて下腹部に貰ったボディがローブローでは無かったけど、レフェリーがローブロー指摘して蹲って時間稼いでダメージ回復した事あったな。
故意の反則は論外だけど卑怯と言われても勝つ為には狡賢く立ち回るのもプロの戦術。
ただ、この一戦は赤穂選手にとって年齢的に最後のチャンスのきっかけになるとても大事な試合だった。最後は玉砕覚悟でも一縷の望みにかけて欲しかった。
