I purposely didn’t translate miyakoochi in the lyrics. Miyakoochi is a very wa（和）word or traditional japanesy word. It is to return home after losing hopes and dreams in the city/capital. Miyako, meaning large city or in this case Tokyo, and ochi, meaning falling. A lot of japanese people often jyoukyou （上京）meaning moving to the capital. It is often associated with finding dreams and achieving them in the capital. Miyakoochi can be thought of as the opposite. After finding out that there is no hope for them, people Miyakoochi, going back to their home town or countryside. Interpretation is probably up to the listener, but it could be like escaping, leaving or giving up on their current lives. Possibly even breaking up and falling out of love. What works well in the song is metaphorically contrasting it to tides. Similarly they go back into the ocean after reaching the shore and that is likely the message of this song.
There is also a lot of 'puns' in these lyrics. For example 'さようなら’ and '左様なら' goodbye and 'if it is that' and alot more others. These nuances are used very often in Yorushika songs so it is cool to see the word play affect the lyrics so much.

いやあ、本当に最高すぎる!!まさかMVでるとは！！毎回そうだけど前のイメージを超えてくるというか…、とにかく分からないけど、毎回心の中で何かが更新されてく感じがすごい。suisさんの透き通って、弾むような歌声、n-bunaさんの作詞、作曲、ギターのリズムの心地よさ、全てが本当にすごい！！MVの中の人も羽織のようなもの、踊り、すごく美しくて、あの、竹やぶ、滝も本当にきれいで実際行ってみたいと思った！曲も最高だけどMVも最高すぎる！！

途中のsuisさんの咳払いとかも入れちゃうあたりが素敵さを増してるし、咳払いのあとのsuisさんの歌い方が昭和の歌謡のような歌い方でもう想像が止まらなかったです！
