I see that some haters are talking about lip syncing but is it just me or their live performances sounds completely better and different from the studio version. Also last time I checked jimin wasn’t growling and his accent when singing wasn’t as clear in the studio version 🤔🤷🏽‍♀️ you can clearly hear their voices over the back track

in an interview, RM said that 'on' was a reverse of their older song 'no'. the opposite of no is yes. instead of declining, they're accepting. they're embracing themselves rather than saying 'no'. they're ok to be the opposite of everybody else (the dancers are dressed in white, and they're in black). but they aren't wearing masks; they aren't covering up. they've learnt to love themselves and to not say no, but to be on. they're dressed in black, like a shadow, an ego, not their full persona, but rather you can see the white elements in their clothing. it represents the good in the bad - the ego in them. at the start of the choreo, you can't see the members, and the dancers dressed in white are formed in a square. that perfect square soon changes, into different lines and formations and the members walk in between the rest of the crowd, standing out and saying yes, not no. the members end in a group position, attached to the ones that are ok to be themselves, and in front, better, happier than the ones that didn't embrace themselves, didn't learn to say yes.

I can't imagine how much they have practiced and worked so hard to keep their voices so stable like that. It's mind blowing, I mean there is no fluctuation when they're doing all these jumps and twists and turns, yet it is obvious they are singing live because of their ad libs and stuff.
