In each run, a mysterious voice drives you to collect the necessary parts scattered around the factory to earn your freedom. The denizens of the factory - fellow rejected Playtime Co. creations - stalk the decaying halls, hunting for prey.
You and your friends must work together and utilize your surroundings if you hope to make it out of the factory in one piece. But who or what you’re collecting the parts for… is unknown.

I noticed that the gameplay reminds me of one of the prototypes from Poppy Playtime where you are a toy escaping from other toys. I have a feeling that they wanted to revive that idea with this game

Its like they are going back to their first idea of the game where it was "Toy Story, but evil" with how we get to play as the smaller toys and worry about other small toys with a human sized threat, looks cool, hopefully adds more lore and can last little longer than project playtime.

Huh... first we become the clean-up crew only to be hunted down by the Bigger Bodies toys (Huggy, Mommy, and Boxy) and now we ARE the Bigger Bodies, but mainly the smaller more abundant/canon foughter ones (Smiling Critters) now running from the more terryfing Bigger Bodies like Ms. Delight. How unexpected yet VERY welcomed. I can't wait for all sorts of shenanigans and hijinxes that will come out of this
