Crazy how Hyuna was one of the most free characters in all of alienstage and even had a life going. Yet, she still ended up becoming a slave to the feelings of a person she wished she was liberated from, and in the end had to come to the conclusion that he was the only exception in her life, that he was just her only weakness.

Thoughts:
The fact that 'wiege' means cradle and the song is sang so softly like a lullaby. That really hits me. Like there's so many parallels between the title and what's happening. Mizi is cradling Till's dead body, Hyuna is embracing and giving final words of comfort to Luka. This song is literally a lullaby to all the characters who have passed, a final comfort and peace before they're finally laid to rest. Because let's face it, the characters (main and let's not forget the background characters) suffer from constant anxiety and fear that they will be 'eliminated'. For what? For just entertainment. Each character fights to just live and to love and urfff that flash to an alternate universe without the aliens. Oh. My. God.
I really can't help but shake in anticipation for what comes next. The last time a song was sang this tenderly was 'Clematis' which was the song that first began this glorious series. I feel like this song is also a closure and beginning to a new arc in alien stage and I am so excited!

One thing I absolutely love about this is the fact that Luka does not look like an adult here. When he saw Hyuna he resembled his younger self. A person longing for love. Someone wanting to be embraced by the very person he specially cares about, and nothing else mattered, even a mere gun couldn't stop him. His realization on what just happened just hurts to see as we've seen Luka always put on a show and have his poker face on all the time. This is the first time we've seen him be so vulnerable, and yeah.. I'm not healing from this anytime soon

What makes Wiege different from other MVs so far, is that Wiege focuses less on what happens plot-wise and more on the emotional aspect of Alien Stage’s world building. Instead of anticipating, waiting to see which character will be the next in line to die like other MVs, Wiege gave the viewers a “breather”, for once pausing the tension to let us have a look around and admire the world’s beauty, admire the lives of humans within this universe for a moment and see that, just like our main cast, every human being here has a family, as a home to go back to. Only 10% of the entire MV was new information. The rest are what we all know, or can infer without the need of a new MV. Little to no time has moved at all between Final Round to Wiege. This MV was what we needed to let everything truly sink in, especially for people who haven’t known Alien Stage for that long.
In conclusion, Wiege was the perfect MV, utilizing emotional impact instead of focusing on what happens plot-wise. I’m not saying ALL of the other MVs are focusing SOLELY on plot, it’s just that they didn’t bring out as much emotional impact as Wiege did.

Wiege means to cradle. You cradle a baby to a lullaby. This song sounds like a lullaby. I guess this reflects the fact that Luka never really got a proper childhood, as he was always being experimented on left and right. Hyuna was his freedom and the woman he felt safe with. I guess that's why Luka reflects some childlike behaviour (and how Luka walking towards Hyuna flashbacks to I think when Luka killed Hyunwoo?)

The worst (best?) part about this entire MV is that VIVINOS was DIABOLICAL ENOUGH to give us snippets of an AU where they're all happy, they're all doing things that they love, and LUKA AND HYUNA ARE DATING (???) and then it immediately cuts back to pure misery. In the beginning where he's surrounded by dead clones of himself, none of them actually have any cuts from his knife (0:32). It's more likely he was freeing potential siblings/friends from their 'eggs' perhaps similarly to how he was born. After all, he's horrified when that kills them (0:27). That's why he's drawn to hyuna because she offered him his greatest desire - friendship. Which might be why he mimics sua and ivan, because he feels satisfaction knowing that till and mizi are now alone like him. Why he smiles when mizi punches him, knowing she feels what he might have when hyuna left him.

Though hyun woo was the one to initiate the fight (2:12), the fact that hyuna was a cause for their argument (2:09) or the fact she cared for her brother's indifferent murderer must've ridden her with guilt. Hence, she wishes she could free and 'forgive [her]self again and again... endlessly'.

Just processing the fact that everyone prior to this were just preparing like they were going to a show. Preparing costumes, talking to each other, everyone huddled together, rehearsing!!! Heck, we even see that Mizi and Suha seemed to have switched from the clothes they were originally going to wear at some point. They were so happy, and now... here we are :(

Hyuna had already been shot, in the stomach which is very dangerous... It is possible she would have not survived long regardless. My guess is the rebellion wanted to ambush the Alien Stage as a sociopolitical move, but also hoping if they got a contestant they could help as a voice for the people, with their fame, testimony and charisma. Most likely Mizi is gonna be placed for that role, the question is if she's gonna prioritize vengeance and whether they will take Luka or leave him with the aliens and what will he do. They're both human time bombs right now: something has to change within them, for good or for bad. Just like Hyuna changed after the rebellion leader died.
