The cinematography and fx are insane. And this version actually shows how brutal Gojira is. I’ve never seen him step or use his tail to kill humans. I can’t wait to see this

Atleast in my opinion, from what we've seen so far, this definitely has the potential to become one of the best Godzilla films since the original, if not _the_ best!

今までのゴジラ映画にないほどのリアルな残酷さでかなり衝撃的だった、、、。ゴジラが普通に一般人踏み潰すシーンとかかなりショッキングだったけど本来怪獣が暴れたらこのくらいヤバいってのがひと目で伝わってきた。今までとは全く違った目線のゴジラになってそうで本当に楽しみ。

Original Gojira is just pure love and nostalgia if you grew up with these films.
I really hope this one will also been shown in european cinemas and even in Germany.
Even if the monsterverse movies are really cool and well known by many but the original Gojira deserves to be shown to a generation of old and young alike and I really hope that fans from back then show all their love and support to this one. <3

That short teaser is so good because it gives off G 2014 opening credits vibes and I love the underwater Godzilla shots with his massive dorsal fins sticking out from the surface of the water. I’m loving the Godzilla minus one design more and more meanwhile it’s becoming one of my new favorite Godzilla incarnation.

Setting this film in Post-WWII Japan was a stroke of artistic genius. The visuals, the story, the drama and suspense, given the history and the prevailing situation, should result in a great film. Then, factor in the filmmaker, his regard for the Character and the Series, his proven VFX skills and story telling artistry, it all adds up to a Godzilla film that may be unprecedented. I believe the Trailer will confirm a lot of this- as much as a trailer can- on SundayNight, West Coast time.
