I've had the privilege of meeting Paul twice (2013 and 2015 in Osaka), each time for about 7-10 mins. The first time was with a few people, the second time it was just us. He is very kind and very easy to talk to. I have a lot of memories from those two precious encounters, which resonate within me almost daily since. Maybe the best memory is that each time he ended our chats with a 5-second song he tooted out on a thumbnail size harmonica he keeps in his pocket. They felt like tiny private serenades. The man is more than a legend but a treasure to humanity. Long live Paul McCartney.

I once ran into Paul in "Soho Square" in London, when I was working there as an American screenwriter. I was dropping off a screenplay of mine in the building next to his
production office, and he was a joy to behold. Upbeat and with this playful way of including you in his life. Just a genuine individual.

Paul is the hero of perseverance and courage. He knows he's the biggest act in music and that everyone will be comparing him to the Beatles and Wings time, but he gets out there and does it. Yes, he's older, yes, his voice is no longer what it was, but he's showing everyone that he has the special thing that the Beatles had, more than any talent; desire, drive, and perseverance. Thank you Paul for still showing the world how it's done and can be done.

2:20 is still one of the most exciting musical pivots of any song I have heard. Like lighting finally striking and the house becomes electric.. another musical pivot is his song '3 Legs' off the album 'Ram' (a masterpiece by the way..) if listen to that musical pivot at around the 2 minute mark of '3 Legs'.. (that is such a hot transition its maddening it is so good.)
