The FIRST TRAILER for Godzilla Minus Zero has released, giving us our very first glimpse of the film, and it is INCREDIBLE! We not only get to see a setting that was even hinted about in Takashi Yamazaki’s earlier teaser, but we also get to see the NEW Godzilla design, as well as hints towards another monster… one more terrifying, and massive, that Godzilla may have to fight. The us initially planned to drop a third bomb on Japan, scheduled for around 8/20/1945. Japan surrendered on 8/15/1945, so the third bomb was never used. "Abort the third drop" is clearly a reference to that, though its use in the plot is unclear.

That flying boat with 4 engines and Godzilla closing in behind it, looks like a WW II Imperial Japanese Navy Kawanishi H8K3 (code named "Mavis" by the US). Love that Yamazaki is utilizing lesser known aircraft in these films.

It’s a stretch to assume the blue energy around the floating buildings was changed just to hide him.
Ghidorah already appeared in recent films like Planet Eater and KotM, another kaiju deserves a chance here.

When I look at that scene of Koichi flying thru buildings defying gravity I was thinking of Ghidorah as well, but then I was thinking of maybe this is another one of Koichi's nightmares because in Minus One he had a nightmare at Odo Island.

7:00 from what i can gather i think the plane is a Kawanishi H8K mid war Japanese flying boat but i am a bit thrown off by the antenna at the front, it could however just possibly be modified to track and lure godzilla since he has been shown to have distaste for aircraft
