Well I wasn't expecting this but the last of the three Dark Giants Hudram has been out way longer than Carmerra and Dargon who both woke up recently. During the whole century he learned about humans, Earth, and mastered the human language while keeping an eye on Yuna for a long time for the other two to awaken. I actually wonder what else Hudram has done during the full 100 years he was already out and about? All that's known is that he made an encounter with Universal Treasure Hunter Ignis with both of them after Yuna for different reasons. Ignis is after Yuna because she is an heiress to a major organization while Hudram is after her because Yuzare's spirit is within her which was sadly unsurprising and he now knows how to do it. Hudram unlike Dargon uses more trickery and skill in place of pure strength and is sword user.
I imagine we'll see more of Ignis next episode but now I'm curious what the Three Dark Giants of Trigger are after? So far we know they were responsible for the destruction of the ancient civilization of Ultra Giants that flourished on Mars 30 million years ago and they were after some kind of Eternity Core. To get to it they needed Yuzare, just what do they intend on using the Eternity Core for once they have it? Is the Eternity Core like another version of the Plasma Spark from the Land of Light or something? If so I have some guesses. Actually no I don't, all that's known of the Plasma Spark is that it was an answer to their world's lost sun and the result was changing their form into great giants and losing it turned their world into an ice age. Would corrupting the Plasma Spark bring the Ultras to extinction or turn them to dark giants and would that be what would happen if the Dark Giants got their hands on the Eternity Core?

The vibes i get after watching episodes of Trigger: If "Ultraman Z" is like the Patlabor crew meets modern Ultraman series, then "Ultraman Trigger" is like when the JRPG (Japanese Role-Playing Game) element meets modern Ultraman, take notice at the soundtrack used in this Trigger scene 25:57, they use Female Choir Sound just like in most JRPG games.

Well this episode showed possibly two plot points with dire consequences
1) the captain losing position because he's beginning to not following his superior. Continuing to support the Ultraman will have consequences.
2) Keeping the secret from Yuna. Yeah sure she will be burdened by the truth but at least she won't be ignorant on what's going on should anything out of the ordinary happen.
Overall, I like this episode.
