Not only was i impressed with Sasaki's execution, but his composure after a few guys hit his stuff and there was traffic on the bases. He didn't panic. The moment never got too big for him as if he's been in the majors for several seasons already lol. You can tell how important baseball is to Japan and it shows through their hard work and dedication to their craft.The discipline, humbleness and respecting their opponent is what i love the most about the culture in general.

Just for everyone else watching. Its not a "fastball", "cutter", "slider" or "change up" (what the broadcast said). I slowed it down and it was all his splitter. He does have a slider along with his fastball and splitter. He used the slider a few times, it moves a lot more lateral than the splitter so its easy to differentiate. He seems to mainly use splitter fastball and sprinkles in a slider once in a while. Also his splitter is disgusting holy smokes
