Said the same thing in your earlier video, here are some of my theories for the film so far:

1: Seeing Godzilla walk past the Statue of Liberty and behind that plane (a Kawanishi H8K2 Emily) we can estimate his height - although the Lady Liberty walk by is very confusing because it seems eerily similar to shots of Godzilla from Ginza, hinting that it might be a dream sequence instead of real life. Not only does it look similar to Ginza, Godzilla in the scene is a direct copy of -1 Goji, which also makes no sense considering we see what Godzilla rebuilds his body to look like in the plane scene.

- Based off the plane scene, we know this: the Kawanishi H8K2 (“Emily”) is 9.2 meters tall from bottom to top and its wingspan (much more reliable) is 38 meters. Using this I have discovered that Godzilla torso alone, taking account of the fact that the plane is in the foreground and Godzilla is in the background, is a bit over 40 meters Add 20 or so for the legs, -0 could be anywhere from 60-80 meters. Not an extreme jump, but a natural one considering he rebuilt his whole body.

- Based off the statue of Liberty scene, he could be anywhere from 80-100 meters considering the statue is 93 meters ground to torch (he is on the ground, you hear the stomps and not water). But as I said before, I don't think this is litearlly Godzilla in New York - sorry guys.

2: Let's talk about that opening dialogue and what we see.

- "If their operation fails, maybe we'll find a need to use it." & "Abort 3rd drop, abort 3rd drop." This is clearly a reference to the atomic bombs, and the fact that America had a back up plan that they didn't tell Japan - they were going to bomb the creature if the Japanese plan failed. Another bonus to the fact that this is an atomic bomb is that the plane in frame is a B-29, the same type which was used to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This is surprising, since in -1 we were told that America couldn't help Japan in any way out of fear of the Russians - another additive to my dream theory. Possibly a higher up or even Truman had a nightmare after seeing what Godzilla did to Ginza, and wanted to use the bomb to quickly end the conflict - at this point, no one knows that Godzilla was made stronger by the tests.

3: What in the hell is going on with those buildings? I have a few theories.

- This is clearly some sort of event caused by a kaiju, possibly Ghidorah, possibly Godzilla (I don't think so) possibly sPaCeGoDzIlLa!1!1!1!!! JK I hope not.

- Could be a wormhole, as we see that the plane is flying towards an opening in the buildings surrounded by a circle of blue electricity or blue radiation. Why would the plane fly up there anyways if they didn't think something weird was going on, that is putting a pilot at risk for no reason.

- Could be something similar to what we see Shin Ghidorah do, where his beams lifted buildings off the ground to throw at Godzilla. Would be interesting to see that power fully realized! While unrealistic.

- Possible anti-gravity bomb developed by the United States? I don't think so but certainly a possibility, we simply wouldn't have the ability in 1949 to build such a thing, especially considering the fact that we would've only had 2 years to do it. Remember, it took the US almost the entire war to develop the atomic bomb.

I'm so happy they used Divine again, my favorite track in the film! I feel like the floating buildings are occuring in a dream sequence of Shikishima's, maybe due to the PTSD, (I don't think he's flying the plane through that scene as I don't see him at all. I think they spliced two different scenes together). Or maybe there's more going on with Noriko we're not seeing just yet. It *does* look like she was being briefed on the possible attacks on Godzilla by Japan/US? Or maybe she was being briefed into what happened during the events of Minus One with Godzilla destroying the Takao? Either way, I feel like there's going to be a strong connection between her and Godzilla plot-wise.
That shot of Godzilla in New York looks like him before he got his new shoulder dorsal plates, so I'm thinking it might have taken place right after the Bikini Atoll test and making landfall in Ginza during the events of the first film.

I’m so hyped!
Immediately after the trailer i started thinking to myself “could we be getting two Godzillas in this movie? Is the enemy monster going to be a second Godzilla?” cause I thought the bulkier Godzilla design we see in the ocean was the Godzilla from Minus One and the New York Godzilla would be a second Godzilla that had been mutated at Bikini Atoll so that would mean America and Japan would both be dealing with their own Godzilla.
However KDM said on Twitter that apparently they’re the same and the bulkier design is the same Godzilla but evolved.

Either way I’m excited no matter what the enemy monster ends up being!

3rd bomb was actually canceled in WWII. As we all know, 2 bombs were dropped. After the 2nd atomic bomb, there were many around the Emperor telling him to hold out. So, the US started to prep a third atomic bombing, but canceled it.
